A model kit for the Strike Gundam. but what surprised me more was the designation 'Entry Grade'. It was the first time I have seen this designation, and after a quick search it's apparently a reboot of the kits called 'No Grade', the OG kits. now this specific model kit is released in 2020.
But maybe it's actually newer since it included a special booklet of 'Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury', it's an anime and it's currently on-going.
Now, when my friend visited, he noticed this box and I asked him, "have you ever assembled one of these?", "No." he answered, and then and there I decided to let him assemble it.
I start, by giving him the right tools, and lend him a flexible directional desk lamp.
Confusion starts to sink in. "BRUH CAN YOU EVEN READ JAPANESE?" 😂
Unwrapping.
<ANALYZING>
He's ready.
I like assembling these kits. one learns how to follow instructions. personally I find this activity as a form of meditation. the glare comes from the desk lamp.
Soon enough he completed the head. looks really nice.
by this time, he was already complaining. "WHY ARE THESE THINGS SO SMALL?!"
he completed the Upper Torso.
careful on the snipping bro.
he then assembled both arms and shoulder.
The Lower Torso, Legs, and feet.
it took some time assembling these as he got confused.😆
He finally got it standing.
Added the rifle and shield.
And finally he was done. at this moment I somewhat got sad that he didn't make it strike a pose.
But I did.😉
it took one hour for him to assemble it and he was going home. I let him keep it as a remembrance.
When he got home, he sent me this picture. I somewhat got sad (again) that he didn't fix its pose.
I am happy about our little activity.
We will probably buy model kits in December.
If you have a chance, you should give it a try. 👋😊
Thanks for reading~.
