Running had been part of me, especially when I was in college. I lived in the school men's dormitory, located inside the university, so morning, from 4 until 5 PM, I get up and run in the field of university ovals; first the beginner's style, I do run half of the oval until I could finish the four rotations in single runs. Maybe that was before younger ages, and now I forget the running routine.

In January 2022, I made a new year resolution to do the early run; but in March 2022, something happened that led me to stop my routine; at that time it felt like I got bored doing it again, but now I decided to start my jogging, as much as possible away home so I could make myself comfortable, lucky I had this companion who says she wanted to lose weight. I laughed, yet I agreed that she could run with me, just that I won't be the one who would adjust. She decided and we ran this morning.
I woke up at 4:00 AM. The time meeting was scheduled for 4:30. I dressed up and made myself hydrated; I refilled my bottle and did the strengthening. 4:30, we started the long walk. I told her better if we should begin conditioning with a long walk, so even we start jogging at 5:00 AM. The enemy of surprised jogging is sudden muscle craps, so I wanted to prevent it.
That happened. It was 5:00 when we arrived on the running pavement; it was not known for it was far away from homes. It was a cemented field design for drying rice grain. At this moment there was no grain to dry up, so we were free to use the place.
I never mind her. I do my runs; if I do, she will chat and talk instead of burning calories.
I am honest that I gained weight these past months, but I am not ashamed. I do my running for my endurance and sweat glance; there was no losing weight that was targeted. I am comfortable with the way I look, lol.
Thirty minutes of non-stop jogging and running made me sweat. After that, I do some abdomen muscle support exercises. Not to plan to have some six-pack abs, but who knows where and when I could still get that lifetime goal, lol.
Also, the circulation of the blood pump in the head, making my blood goes to the normal flow.
The area was wide enough to occupy even twenty people to run on the same track.
This is where sports competitions happen, especially school-based competitions with no ovals. Only universities with an oval high school weren't yet, for they were controlling the space.
The area was also filled with rice fields, so there is no doubt that the airflow was a cold breeze.
I planned to continue it for the next few days to still reach my resolution goal.
Running and walking honestly disregarded this moment; people preferred motorcycles or cars, even going just near the side (I am guilty of that). But I wanted to regain my stamina and agility like in my teenage years, not lose weight but live in healthy, moving bodies.
How about you? Could you run? Want to compete in track the field? Haha.
