Hi there, my name is Bhin, short for Rhoben. I was born a “jejemon”(A term that has been modified by adding or removing letters, numbers, or symbols to spell the words differently. These words or phrases were trendy in the early 2010s). Rhoben is a combination of my mother's and father’s names. It is the name I went by when I was in Grade school and the First two years of High school, and this is what my current friends call me now.
On my blog, I will do my best to share my journey as a full-time mom, a housewife, a crafter, a gardener, and anything else that may interest you. My life isn't as adventurous as some people do, but I do have exciting experiences. Some say that motherhood is boring because we mostly spend our time in our house. But I tell you, most of my core memories happened when I became a mom.

I have two sons, ages 5 and 10. My firstborn has an Autism Spectrum Disorder(ASD) accompanied by Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder(ADHD). He was diagnosed when he was 4 years and 10 months old. Being a mom of a child with special needs is something that I wasn't prepared to be. They needed plenty of attention as well as care and a lot of understanding. When he was diagnosed, I blamed myself and was in denial at first, but I slowly accepted his condition. My youngest is 5 years old, and he will be going to preschool. He is neurotypical, and he helps me take care of his big brother. Taking care of two boys is exhausting, but at the same time, it brings a sense of contentment.
I am not yet married to my long-time partner, but we have been together for 13 years. What I love about him is that he is a hardworking man who puts our family first above all else. For us, being married is not the basis of having a perfect family. There are lots of married people who end up unhappy or broken. We do have a plan to get married, but there are still some things that need to be done first. I don't have a job as of now, because I want to focus on taking care of the children and the house. But sometimes, I sell my crafts at the bazaars to help my partner with the expenses.
Crafting has always been a part of me. When I was little, I would always watch my mom create beautiful and delicate handmade pieces. There’s something about making things from scratch that makes me feel satisfied. Some of my crafting mediums are beading, sewing, knitting, and cross-stitching - all of this was inspired by my mom. But what interests me most is crocheting. It is my favorite pastime because I can transform yarn into different kinds of things using just a crochet hook. Sometimes, when I can't find the pattern that I want or if it is too expensive for me to buy, I write my own crochet pattern.
There are still various kinds of crafts that I want to learn, like candle making, soap making, resin, or anything that is handmade. The Idea of creating something unique is what inspires me to be productive. For me, handcrafted items are special because they are made purely from the talent and skill of the artisan, which they practice for a long period to perfect their craft. Every craftsman puts their heart and soul into perfecting their unique piece of art.
I also have a passion for planting ornamental plants. I love tending my garden and seeing my plants grow. I start my day by drinking my coffee and having a walk around my garden. One of my dreams is to have a garden that I can open to the public. A place where people can visit, have coffee, and contemplate while relaxing and admiring the scenery. My love for gardening was also inspired by my mother, who has different varieties of plants in our hometown. Whenever we come to visit her, the first thing I do is go to her garden and admire the flowers that she meticulously takes care of with her own hands.
It's not just the past of my life that I want to share. As I experience more adventures, creativity, and chaos in my life, I will do my best to write them down and share them with you. Some might have experienced them as well, and I hope that we can talk, laugh, and maybe cry about it here.
I want to express gratitude on this site for giving me the opportunity to express my thoughts and memories through blogging. Also, thanks to my friend @romeskie for introducing this blogging thing to me.
