Filipinos are naturally born talented. We have been gifted with so much talents and these recent days, there have been a lot of new talents booming and one of which is Elis J. TV or real name Elias Lintuan, who is from Magpet, North Cotabato, Philippines. His talent has been known nationwide.
The municipal mayor of Tabogon held a free concert for all the people of Tabogon and it was free of admission so we also grabbed the opportunity since my son wanted to watch also.
The concert started at around 6:00pm where the local bands first performed and we arrived early also because we wanted to have dinner there. We first went to the parking area to our car and then, we went to go get some foods. There are a lot of food stalls selling various foods. Here are some.
Upon walking towards the parking area, I saw this truck containing the sound system and lights services which will be used at the concert and it was such a fond sight since it was named the same as with my first name. How I wished this was indeed mine. A little day dreaming won't hurt, right?
Here are some snacks we found at the food stalls area. Everything looked so appetizing.
Here are some cheesy hotdog buns and some tempura, fish ball and kekiam. These are some of the most famous street foods sold especially during concerts or any events.
A closer look at the cheesy hotdog buns. It looks mouthwatering and look at the amount of cheese they have added to it.
Takoyaki and fries are also available for an affordable price. These snacks are perfect especially when watching some concert.
Also, there's this stall that sells unripe mangoes paired with shrimp paste. This is a perfect appetizer especially when you are a fan of eating sour foods.
We bought some "puto bumbong" which is purple sticky rice cake steamed in bamboo tubes.
For our dinner, we had some barbeque.
After we ate, we went to the concert area.
We were too early I guess. We then set up our camping chairs so that we can comfortably sit while waiting for the guest artist.
We waited 4 hours before Elias J Tv came out and it was the best decision to set up our camping chairs or else we would have leg cramps for standing for hours. It was a good thing we sat the entire 4 hours waiting. At around 10 pm he finally came out of stage.
There were a lot of people and we had to stand since we could not see if we will be sitting due to a lot of people. The concert was smooth and we had fun. If you were to ask me, I don't consider it the best concert I have been to but I am trying to support local therefore it was a good experience, being able to support local Filipino talents.
After the concert, we went home to Tuburan but we first went to Jollibee Bogo to have some midnight snack because we were so hungry after the concert.
We ordered our Jollibee favorites. After eating, we went home to Tuburan and we took the San Remigio route.
What a fun experience indeed! Ciao! ♡
