Hey everyone, it's me again @iamjamil. Are you having a good day? Well, I hope you're doing well, staying healthy, and managing your studies without too much stress. Today, I'm just going to share with you what has happened in my life the past few days. If you're also a STEM student, I think you know already how chaotic things can be when exams are just around the corner, right? But adding sickness is just entirely a different battle. So, sit back and grab a cup of tea, let me take you through this battling week. Come on!✨
I can say that these past few days have been nothing short of a whirlwind. As a STEM student, I'm no stranger to stress anymore since I encounter it almost every day. However, this final exam threw an unexpected challenge in my way, and getting sick for the big day is something that I hate very much since I can't focus on studying.
March 25, 2024 is fast approaching and my days were filled with intense studies, sleep nights, and also coffee(haha). In the long run, I thought I was just okay, but, sickness had other plans for me. Fever, headaches, and exhaustion hit me so hard. Do you know the worst part? I had no time to rest properly. But, I was still pushing it through, however, balancing studying while experiencing sickness I think it's quite impossible.
So it's exam day! When I woke up, my body felt really tired. When I arrived at the school, I really felt goosebumps. As the exam started, while staring at the questions of the first subject, my mind had just disappeared for a minute. Luckily, I was still able to answer it(hehe).
After answering all of the test papers, I felt a little bit mix of emotions, finally, it's done! But I'm also worried if I have done enough. I wanted to treat myself but my body wanted to recover from the fast few days of stress and sickness.
Looking back on what had happened in my life these past few days, I realized that this experience taught me an important lesson which is health should never take a backseat even during exams. Though it's easy to get caught up in the pressure of performing well at the end of the day what matters is your well-being. You're just bringing your own body, so take good care of it.
Now, I'm just waiting for the results, hoping that my hard work and efforts will be paid off. Whatever happens, I know that I did my best and gave my all though I'm sick.
