Hello there Hivers! Today I'm excited to recount our moments of completing the Misa de Gallo as Santas!!
Not only did we complete the 9-day misa de gallo, but also the experience we shared throughout the days that we are together is profoundly joyful.
In just 9 days of us being together, a bond that formed is so hard to describe. It was the memories that I will forever cherish.
On December 15, when the mass started, and we were informed by ma'am hardy that we had to present in the church. She chatted on our group chat that we should not disappoint her.
Even we dont have enough practice, we gave our best to perform well. We came straight from our school and go to the Church.
December 16, a special day that marks the beginning of the misa de gallo . Every Year misa de gallo is a national tradition in the Philippines that starts on December 16 and ends on December 24.
I felt incredibly happy because I'm part of Lady Santa's. Last year, I had desired to be one of the Santas, but I'm scared if my father disapproved.
We both loved taking pictures. She often told me "Let's take a picture ish". Which I truly like about her.
After our performance, we practiced for the next performance " Misa De Gallo". We were enjoying ourselves, especially since I was with a friend who is really humorous, it makes our practice never feel boring.
Both @melcakes and cath led our practice. Everyone in the group gave ideas to make our practice better. And to make our practice easier.
Once we felt satisfied with our progress, we took a break and eat meal together.
For our breakfast today's morning we had pansit and fish. As we sat to eat, the conversation flowed easily. The food was tasty, and we felt satisfied after eating.
After our meal, we started practicing again. To finalize our dance, As we were practicing a dog caught our attention. He always sticks out his tongue, we thought the dog was aggressive. However, as we observed it more closely, we realized the dog was actually friendly.
We're currently in the midst of practicing for our upcoming dance during the misa de gallo.
Our goal is to perform a nice performance at church. We believe that by giving our best, we can truly entertain of all the people.
As we were going home, We spotted a bride. And as I looked closer, I realized that she was a relative of mine. Even though we only caught a short glimpse of the ceremony, I felt genuinely happy to witness such a special moment of her life.
On the night of December 16, there was a mass, and as always, we presented at the church. It's always a mix of nervousness and excitement.
After our performance, we discussed and prepared for our upcoming presentation. Amidst our serious planning, there were also some humorous moments.
Feeling cute with how I looked that evening, I turned my friend hoping that she would capture me. I felt my hairstyle looked cute that time. Gladly, she didn't hesitate and she immediately took a picture of me.
The sky looked incredibly beautiful. These mesmerizing scene that I absolutely loved😭😭.
This was our go to drink to start our morning. We always start with milo, a drink that I love because it's rich in chocolate flavor.
We pair it with a piece of bread, making it balanced to start our day. It becomes an important part of our mornings that it feels incomplete without it.
Seeing our little santas alongside with Lady Santa's was truly cute. They were all enjoying their Milos, with a piece of bread.
Its my cousin and me. My cousin, who has been a part of this santa group for a long time, was a driving force behind my decision to join.
Last year, I often accompanied her to their rehearsal and performance. This year, with their encouragement I am part of the santas.
As we embarked on our second day as Santas, we were really excited.
Our fits looked similar but the main difference was our footwear. Still, since both were white, we looked the same and matched well together.
For breakfast we had Pansit and fish, and dried fish. The dishes were so tasty.
Watching the little Santas during their practice was a heartwarming sight. Their effort that they put in and their willingness to practice was just so happy to witness.
By 10 in the morning, we still hadn't wrapped up our practice. With our evening presentation at 6:00 Pm. Time was ticking, and we were also getting tired and wanted to sleep.
As day 2 came to close, I reflected on the journey so far. While we managed to perform morning and evening, it felt like a continuous challenge.
After our performance wrapped up, we immediately grabbed a coffee to start our day,and have an energy and paired it with budbud a local delicacies.
We go to the church, after we drink our coffe. Once inside, we began rehearsing our chants for our presentation for the next day.

Our photo is incomplete at that time, because one of our group is currently in hospital.
I asked my fellow santa to take a picture of me. Because I felt cute wearing this outfit.
This is the sister of my friend, and she really looks alike with her. She is pretty and friendly.
I took a solo picture of them because they are so adorable. They are all friendly too. When they saw me they hugged me. I missed them so much.

These are the little Santas practicing for tomorrow's presentation. Cath is the one teaching them, because she knows the stepping. She's the one guiding the little Santa's because she has experience.
This is us preparing for our performance in the church, and then ma'am hardy announced a good news that we will use our boots which she bought it for us.
Look at the happy faces of angela and Danica they're was excited to wear the boots.
Charaannnn. Our most awaited boots was just arrived.
We are very pleased with this because ma'am gave it to us without any expense in our part. We just had to perform well.
Omg, my boots I'm trully excited to open it.
It's exciting to wear our new boots that ma'am hardy bought for us. The boots really match our outfits.
Also the gloves just arrived, so pretty it matches so well.
We paid 75.00 for this, which is worth it by just the quality of the fabric.
Ahhh😫😫😫😫 wearing our new gloves and boots. I'm trully happy that I am part of this because we received a nice boots, and also the memories that we created even in a shortest time.
I told my mother that we should take pictures because we had our new boots and gloves...
We took pictures, because we have our new boots and we also put our gloves on. Everything looks really nice.
We're taking picture because last year when we were attending the misa de gallo, we would always take a picture to document each day, but now it's rare. I missed those moments when she fetch me from our place so I can attend the mass. And because of her, I completed the misa de gallo last year. Thanks youu Cath🫰🫰🫰
As usual coffee time to have an energy and chatting about some stuff while drinking our coffee.

after we drink our coffee, we then proceed with our practice, as usual this is already our routine.
