On this day is the day where my sister came back for her long day in city. She have something important to get that why she came back home, but after that our neighbors approach us and told that if we want to eat some buko or in bisaya we called it lamaw. Without hesitation my sister directly said yes.
One of the main things that my sister wanted if she's in here is a free foods specially when you don't need to buy it in a higher price but you can directly get how much you want due to the fact that it's free and all you need to do is to prepare what's needed to make it more delicious. The first one is what we called buko or coconot. My uncle are the one who climb it to it's own tree, he know that were goinv to make some lamaw and he suggests that he will get it. Luckily he got a lot and I think he already got all the young coconut, but never mind at least cravings satisfied, kidding aside.
Obviously if we have coconut we can't called it lamaw if we don't scrub it with a spoon or a spoon that have a scrub. I don't know my mind are missing, I don't know what kind of spoon it is but at least it's useful.
While my sister are busy on her duty, here I am taking her some photos cause I just want to. Well it's my hobby taking some random photos but not literally a bad picture but I think I can pass as a photographer, kidding.
My sister's responsibility is to scrub the coconut and my brothers duty is to break the coconut into two pieces so that the coconut juice to make it as a soup of our lamaw. You know all, for me it's better to have much coconut juice than it's unod or what ever called it. The owner of the coconut we got was also the one who said that we will make some lamaw, though were not blood related but she treat us as her own related and also for us. My mom and her was a childhood friend that's why their so close.
Way back, their still scrubbing the coconut I think it take some hours untill they already got all the coconut. We will put some condense milk, sugar and also ice to make it more delicious, but before that we must focus first on what time they will got finish scrubbing the coconut.
And after a long time waiting, here if comes the lamaw in bisaya or a coconut that mix with condense, sugar and ice. It is the first reason why my sister want to come home due to the fact that if you buy it on the city it cause maybe 50 or even 60 per cup and just a juice of a coconut. I'm wondering why some people didn't even want a coconut if theres no condense. But for me, both are delicious. Atleast our cravings or the cravings of my sister already here. Though she can't have a permanent time or day to spend here in province atleast she eat the food that hard to buy in city. But we can't deny that even we want to live in province for peace but we need to explore some other place go achieve every dream of ours even though we can leave some good and perfect life in province.
