Hello, my dear Hivers!
Today, I want to share with y'all our experience attending the Foodcart Franchise Grand Seminar held at McDonald’s in Bogo City, Cebu. But before I get into that, let me tell you what happened leading up to it.
A few days before the seminar, my mom already told me that they were going to attend one and that the meeting would be held at McDo. On the day itself, she reminded me again that their meeting was at 2 PM, and that after my class, I could just ride with them so we could go home together. I had classes from morning until 3 PM, so after my class, I told my friends I couldn't join them going to the bus stop because I still had to go to McDo.
Good thing, we were actually walking in the same direction toward McDo since it's just a short walk from our school campus. When I said, “Bye, guys!” they asked me, “Are you sure the seminar is in McDo? Maybe it’s just in the building next to it.” I laughed and said, “Hmm, good point. I was having doubts myself.”
Since I wasn’t 100% sure if the seminar was actually there, I decided to hang out at McDo for a while and order some food. I was a bit low on cash, so I asked one of the crew if they accepted online payments, and thankfully they said yes. I started browsing the menu and couldn’t decide at first, spaghetti or fries? I have now ordered Jolly Spaghetti exclusively with Oreo ice cream.
I was there at the counter when I saw that they had just freshly prepared French fries, so then I asked the crew if I could please swap my spaghetti order for regular fries instead (since they were the same price) and they said sure!
Minutes passed before the food arrived and after making the payment, I sat back and waited for my order. As time goes by, my number then called and as I was getting it, it has a whole lot of fries! Super hot and so crispy, just how I like it! I didn't even check my phone, just trying to savour the food.
Just a little while after I was done, my mom walked down to me from the second floor. Little chitchat about how was our day and then I asked her how the seminar went. She said it went well and invited me up to see if I could try some of the food they served.
When I arrived, the seminar was already over, and true to their timing, the staff in the kitchen started serving food again. We had pretty juicy chicken, grilled and yet fried, and wow, it tasted so good!
Before we could leave, they packed for us a box of pizza. Now just looking at it, my mouth was already watering! But during this time I didn't eat any though, 'cause my tummy is still full.
And that is all for today's blog, my dear Hivers. Thank you so much for reading!
