Happy Wednesday, my dear Hivers! Last night, my brother treated me for dinner at Kermit's. Initially, I offered to take him for dinner at Abaca Restaurant since he mentioned that he hasn't eaten in that resto. But due to the heavy traffic, we went to Kermit's instead since it's the closest location.
This restaurant is quite famous for their cakes but during this time, we were hungry so we opted to have their meals instead. Our order included pork backribs, lasagna, and classic burger with fries- in order according to my ranking.
As to the ambiance, the place is quite chill, perfect for meet ups and catch ups with friends. It's also located in a place surrounded by other restaurants and establishments so it's very accessible to people.
This masterpiece below is located near the restroom area. Made from plastic grass and paintings, this definitely became an instant main attraction in this restaurant.
Going back to our dinner, I was so touched when my brother insisted to pay for our meal using his first salary at work. This simple gesture really made the dinner even more special. He just started working as an engineer at a construction company. Since it's an on-the-site job, calls during dinner are inevitable. I'm just glad I've witness his humble beginnings.
Among all my siblings, it's my brother that I'm the closest to. Surprisingly, we share secrets to each other on about anything and everything under the sun- relationship, work related, money talks, etc. Some people would say that he is my boy version and I do agree on this. Haha.
As for the food, we enjoyed the meal. The price was reasonable, although my brother thinks it's pricey already.
That's it for today's blog. See you in my next one!
Sending some love and light
With love, Jane
