Hello, Hive!
The last week of July was truly a hectic week for me! Not chaotic, but undeniably busy!
It started with a celebration for my son's 11th birthday. It was a simple celebration with our family, but he enjoyed the food and his eyes lit up when he saw the 4th Gear Luffy action figure that I bought for him.
On Tuesday, I assisted a co-teacher in hosting a quiz bee as one of the culminating activities for Nutrition Month. Followed by the Infographics making contest on Wednesday. Thursday, the last day of July, was the busiest day of all! The busiest, but it was a fun-filled day!
In the morning, the students prepared/cooked foods representing different regions in the Philippines. They also prepared their display area and standees. After the judges passed by each area, it was a signal to eat the food they prepared! There were so much food, but after a couple of sandwiches, I was full!
In the afternoon, the students showcased their talents through their dance presentations. The winners of the different contests were also announced in the afternoon. Maybe the Nutrition month is over, but it doesn't mean the work is over!
Friday! Thank God it's Friday(?)! Maybe. July was already over, but work is not yet. I have to work on the library system that I have been trying to install for days! The problem is that it's an old system designed for Windows 7, and I'm trying to install it on Windows 10. Then there's the meeting in the afternoon.
It was a tiring week. In fact, a few minutes after I got home, I dozed off.
Saturday Morning was no rest for me, still. I took my son for his swim training. We arrived at the pool before seven in the morning. The training ended around 8:30, and we went to the doctor for his checkup. The doctor was not there yet, so we have to go home to have breakfast and went back around 10:30.
Thankfully, I had time to rest in the afternoon. Though I still have a lot of things to do, I decided to relax for a bit. But I guess I was too tired that I slept almost the whole afternoon.
Yeah, I had a busy week. It was a hectic last week of July. Thankfully, it's over. Now, I have to prepare for another grueling month,
