Everything around us costs already even a single piece of hot pepper or a stem of lemon grass that we can find in our garden or neighbor's garden can cost a penny. When many years back then we can get it for free! Now, only the air we breathe is FREE! Thanks God for that. Anyway, I let you see how lucky we are to visit a place where everything is free.
It's a hot afternoon when we visit to my friend's house. I bring my kids with me. Their road is made of asphalt and other areas are made of cement but why isn't uniform? Maybe out of budget, but anyway people are free to come go for free. So, still thank you.
When we arrived in their home, we were served by her family a delicious food, short conversation, and little discussion about hive. Just as we were proud about the platform because we make friends, connections, and most especially when someone is blessed and happy it will reflect to their loved ones. Just like now, we were invited with free lunch by my friend. Note the cycle.
After our sumptuous lunch, we head to the nature's bounty. Lots of coconut trees and felt the calmness of the nature.
The scorching heat of the sun made my friend turn into a ninja hahaha kidding😆. It's truly hot but we have to move faster to arrive early as expected. But where we heading to?
We passed by a carabao (national animal in Philippines) dipped in a creek. Here in Philippines, after the carabao plowing a certain garden (bigger garden or hacienda) it will be stand-by in a small lake to regain energy ready for another work done. Also, a traditional way of getting water which is a well. People usually get water here to wash their laundry or taking a bath. Doesn't cost a little bit, yes it's still free.
And now we're here already! They call it "payag ni mayang" which means small hut of mayang. We climb up here to experience the cozy air, the perfect ambiance, and to witness the upper view. Wooow!
This is so free! The hut, the fresh air we breath, the picture perfect view, and everything!
People tend to complain what they have right now. They didn't see the value right in front of them. That's ungrateful. However, we have to be grateful in everything that we feel and see even in small things we should be thankful. Even waking up in the morning is a big blessing. It's free yet we didn't recognize them because we are looking for something. But I tell you, be grateful in everything that you received, big or small it doesn't matter. What matters most is your thankful heart.
This is free yet you have to go outside to see how beautiful the creation of God. Learn to appreciate everything around you.
