*This has been my main growth strategy in 2024 and hasn't changed much for this year - 2025. My HP growth had slowed down because I have adjusted to more passive income streams here on the blockchain so I've lowered my HP target to 5,000 for this year and will be adjusting as I reach the milestones.
Hello Hiveans! Good day everyone. I hope that you are all doing well even with how crazy things are everywhere. Natural and man-made calamities are dominating the headlines, while wars and poverty ravage the vulnerable. Positive and uplifting content show up less on my feeds these days and cute dogs and cat videos only work once every so often to cheer me up. This is the reason why I go on-chain every day; because there is always good news. And even during the bear market lows we got to read good, quality content and see updates from our online friends. Now that the price is doing better and new games and projects are coming out, greater optimism abounds in our small corner of the web.
And this is the reason why I'm powering up another 100 Hive even in the context of the bull market season. It might be something that one shouldn't do given that the price of Hive might just pump at any given time now, but it's something that will eventually happen and I will be happy when it does. I just want to take advantage of the "low" Hive price to power up, which will help me reach my goal of 5,000 HP for this year.
I am very optimistic when it comes to the Hive ecosystem. Given the history and strong communities here, I am certain that more good things are coming our way.
What will I use the additional HP for?
I plan on increasing my delegation to my home community, the HivePH. It is a good investment if you ask me. It helps support good content, onboard new users and get rewarded at the same time. The community gets to use the extra HP, which is very helpful to newbies especially those with low HP.
I also plan on increasing my delegation to @dcityrewards 'coz why not? Dcity is one of the games that I started playing with here, and still do. It had helped convince me that this is a good platform to blog and play alongside each other back when I was just starting to discover what I can do here on the platform. I believe that investing in Hive through staking will help us all in the long run.
And, that's my short update for today. It's a Friday so I know that many of us are looking forward to the weekend to get some rest and work on some personal projects at home. As always, wishing you all a great day ahead.
