Daydreaming of another all-time high
I started this lazy-day series back in 2002 where I just post about random things that I do, think about, and experience from time-to-time. I got to #4, then stopped. I was busy with other stuff that I didn't really have lazy days to continue the series; plus, the main concept of the blog was to create content when I'm on down-time and I just sit in a corner and get lost in a daydream. Those days usually consist of going on #Hive, creating content, reading and reacting to other authors, playing Hive #games, checking out hive-engine tokens, trading crypto, watching YouTube videos, new Netflix shows - you get what I mean.
Oftentimes, I #daydream about the price of hive going to US$10. For context, it was around 0.70 cents at that time, then shot up to 1 dollar. Those were the days. The price was in a downtrend from the all-time high the year before and I was hoping that we will see a reversal, but the trend did not continue and we experienced this 3 year consolidation. And now we are here...
What to do on a lazy day?
Today is a lazy day so I decided to go on Hive. Not much difference from my "regular" days, but this time I don't really have anything scheduled except for some random chores and miscellaneous stuff I have to go get from the grocery. So, before I go out, I would like to do some things while I'm here.
#1 Delegate 100 HP to @pakx

*I love rewarding #engagement on my blog, so adding another way to tip my friends who often come and engage with me is awesome.
#2 Increase delegation to @dcityrewards to 500 HP

*Dcity is one of the OG games here on Hive and constantly supports my content so it's only logical to give back my support.
#3 Increase delegation to @hivephilippines to 2,100 HP

*Of course, I have to include my home community, I would like to continue increasing my support to the community, which, if you don't know already, helps newbies here on the platform and gives rewards back to the delegators.
#4 Replenish my HP via staking

*I've almost used up all of my available HP for the last delegation I did, so naturally, I have to increase it again. I have 78.819
liquid Hive, which I powered up. It helped get my HP back up and moved me closer to my 2025 HP Goal of 5,000 HP. I now have 3,464.982
Hive Power.
Conclusion
It was a fun and exciting exercise for me. As you can see from the delegations that I did, there are many reasons to delegate to an account or community. For sure, it feels good to see high rewards when I do my own curation but it is just as fun to see the rewards from the delegated HP. I'm sure that you have good reasons in delegating to a particular account. For me, this means that we have a healthy and thriving ecosystem that helps encourage accounts to stake rather than cashing out their rewards.
And that's it for today. Thanks for dropping by and using your precious time to visit my blog. Have a wonderful day.
Love and peace,
@juanvegetarian
