Hello there Madlang Hivers! It’s me @juvithavibes again bringing you another exciting blog to dive into. So grab a coffee, get comfy, and let’s dive into the best memories of my second year college moments.
In this blog, I'm going to share about some of the highlights and the experiences that still linger with me forever. Come with me as I look back on the highlights of my second year—a year that has left an indelible mark on my path.
Second year is a year of learning, challenges, and moments that I will never forget. When I look back at the year, I can see how much I've learned, experienced, and enjoyed every second. From study sessions at midnight to unexpected experiences together with my classmates. This year has been full of memories that made me who I am now.
We had an event called "EDUCATION WEEK” with the theme "Celebrating the Beauty and Richness of Filipino Culture." I was chosen to be one of the dancers in the group to represent our section.
It’s because the event of “Education Week” is fast approaching we, the interpretative dancers immediately starts to practice after our class hours.
My classmates were also assigned to decorate the stage. They worked together to develop a theme and thoughtfully selected colors, props, and decorations to elevate the stage's appearance.
Each person contributed their ideas, and together they transformed the stage into a lively and vibrant space.
Once they finished setting it up, they took some pictures.
And today has finally arrived – the day we’ve all been waiting for. The Education Week Program has officially begun with many participants joining from each section.
Before we took the stage to perform our interpretation dance, my companions and I took some pictures together.
During this program different cultures were showcased through the performances of the dancers.
The Filipino dancers specifically were also rejoicing at the beauty and richness of Filipino culture. The use of colorful costumes complemented the visual display, expressing the diversity and rich history of the Philippines. It was an unforgettable way to appreciate and learn about Filipino heritage.
After everyone performed during that time, we were all nervous but gave our best. To our surprise we ended up taking third place. It felt surreal since we never thought we would get that far but all the hard work and dedication we put in really paid off.
After the program, we took a picture.
Since it is our last semester in the second year, our professor in Mathematics gave us a task for our finals, and that task is titled "Math Digra Dance”. My classmates quickly started thinking about the steps we would do for the dance.
And this is the day we have been waiting for. We were all really nervous about how our performance would turn out. But before all of that, we all prayed and asked for strength and courage from the Lord God.
So here it is Hivers! Our performance during that time. I just cut the video clip because it was too long.
After we performed we felt a sense of relief because finally! it was over and we were able to perform well.
In an unexpected turn of events, we didn’t expect to win and we were awarded 2nd place. We were so happy because all our hard work during our rehearsals finally paid off.
This is where my blog comes to an end, Hivers! I'm so glad that I've been able to share all the incredible experiences of my Second Year with you. I will always be grateful for the laughter, the challenges that pushed me to do better and the relationships I made with people who were strangers before. It is unbelievable how much I've realized not only in my academics but in life too. Thank you for sharing this journey with me.
