Hello Fellas!!! What's up? I hope that you're all okay and safe. Today I will share with you about my THRIFTING or UKAY-UKAY experience in Bogo City.
In this world where new fashion trends are ongoing, thrifting is our go-to store when we need to budget our money to buy new clothes and there's something truly special about thrifting or preloved items. Let's go and join me on a journey through thrifting in Bogo City. Let's find clothes that are in good condition or clothes we can alter.
From vintage clothes, let's make them into fashionable ones.
Thrift stores are stores that offer us budget-friendly items.I've been longing to go thrifting last month, but due to my hectic school schedule, I cannot go to different thrift stores nearby. So, this is a perfect timing for me because last Wednesday morning (March 27, 2024), my school announced that our Campus will have a Half Day class because of the Holy Week. Since there's no class that day, I decided to go to a thrift store and find something new to hang in my wardrobe.
My first destination is SHEILA'S STORE (it is located beside Chooks to go in Bogo City). We can find clothes in good condition here, and it is easy to thrift because all their displays are hanging. This thrift shop is air-conditioned, so we expect their prices to be higher than the other thrift shops. The clothes that we can buy affordably at SHEILA'S UKAY UKAYAN cost 75 pesos. We can find a variety of items here such as pants, pajamas, lingerie, swimsuits, crop tops, bed sheets, dresses, oversized t-shirts, shorts, and shoes. Unfortunately, I didn't find anything in that shop because I budgeted my money for thrifting and I am looking for something to wear at school that is not a crop top, like the one pictured below.👇
This bodysuit is nice but it has an issue; as you can see, there is a hole in the arm part. After looking, I went to my next destination. The good thing is that this thrift shop is across SHEILA'S UKAY UKAYAN (thrift shop).
I automatically went inside to see something good and I saw an oversized t-shirt, sadly I didn't get it because I think it's too big for me.
The next destination and the last thrift shop that I want to visit is this thrift store which only sells shoes. We can find shoes in good condition, but sadly, when I arrived there, they didn't have any sizes that could fit my foot. It is a budget-friendly shop; they have a display where the whole shoe costs 35 pesos or 55.
All we need in thrifting is patience for finding good stuff.
After going to the thrift shop, I felt hungry. So, I went to the Pantalan Barbecue to eat there. Luckily, my friend chatted with me that he finished his Work Immersion that day, so he decided to join me to eat there.
We ordered Pork,Tinae(chicken intestines), Dugo-Dugo(Pig blood),Atay(Chicken Liver),Puso (hanging rice), some soft drinks, and they had free soup there.
After eating we decided to go home because it is already late.
Thank you for reading and supporting my blog, I hope you enjoy it.
See you on my next one!
May God bless us all. Adios
