“The journey into the past is not just a return — it's a rediscovery of who we truly are”— Maya Angelou
“Sometimes you have to take a step back to see just how far you’ve come”— Unknown
Visiting my old school make me feel blessed, oh! how many times I wish to be here again. As soon as I enter the gate the memories I made here in the past years came back like I've been always here.
Hellow my very dear hivers, Annyeong haeseyo! I'm back! How are you today? lets continue what we started.
I kept walking and I notice a few students walking infront of the flag pole, some of them practicing something maybe that for their performance. I walk in the hallway for some reason my memories with my old friends flash back as I about to cry when I suddenly remember that I'm at public place right now so, let's continue exploring this school.
The old rough hallways are now tyles, the chairs is now improved looks like where in korean school. I met my old teachers, chatting them, asking how are they in a past few years. After that we decide to go home.
I walk through this area again I dunno why but I always felt peacefulness when I'm walking here— It's so quiet, clean especially the air, Its so wonderful. Although some other day I'll become busy again because of my work, In this way I felt relieved in every stressful day i had.
It suddenly started raining so we decided to walk faster so we wouldn't get too wet. The weather is changing, it's very hot for a while and then suddenly it rains. I don't understand the weather, it's like when two people have a misunderstanding, you never know when the other's mood will change. Luckily we brought an umbrella so that in case it rained we would have one, but we only brought one because I was too lazy to bring one on my own HAHAHA, so when it started raining my sister and I shared one umbrella.
While walking, we saw two people in front of us sharing the same umbrella. Of course, I was a little jealous because I miss that kind of treatment he gave me HAHA.
When we got close, we saw a street food vendor, so we thought we would stop and buy some. We walked again to Vista Mall where the tricycles were parked.
We waited for Dad there. While waiting, we took pictures of ourselves. As long as my sister and I were together, we would never forget taking pictures.
While waiting, of course, we connected to Vista Mall's free wifi. Even if it was only for 1 hour to connect, that was fine because I was just downloading k-dramas and C-drama in YouTube and Vidmate HEHE.
After a while, the rain stopped but the wind is cold, and Dad came, so we immediately went home because we got wet even though we had an umbrella.
When we got home, Jhenly and I go to room and immediately changed clothes because we were wet from the rain, and then we planned to go for a walk at night.
We went to a park where there was a playground and other beautiful views, we go in playground because we want to experience childhood again, so we played for a while.
There weren't many people because it's already night; we were just siblings, so there was no rival.
We tried the slide and other parts of it; we didn't stop until we got sweat and tired. We only bonded with our siblings once in a while because I was busy with work. The village where we live is private, so no one can enter unless you live here. There are also many guards who go around, and there are others who guard the guardhouse. There are CCTVs in every corner of the village, so if you are not really from here, they won't let you in. Even in the park we went to, the guards are very strict. It's a good thing they know my father because we have lived here for a long time.
Every day that passes by us has different importance that needs to be remembered. There are many people we haven't seen in a long time, but we still remember them. Every minute I talk to my old teachers, there is joy in my heart because they haven't forgotten me yet and I appreciate it.. We only talked for a short time because they still had classes and the others is busy, but even so, I am happy to be back in my old school and met my old teachers. Many has changed, but the people there haven't already changed. The policy change a lot and become stricter than before. I have many memories in this school— my friends, teacher etc. and I'll never forget it. Whether it's sunny day or rainy day, the laughs, fun and hanging out with my siblings still continues.
