Hello, Hive community! It's been a while since I last connected with you! After being occupied these past few months, I've made the decision to come back here—and what better way to kick things off than with a re-introduction?
I am a first-year architecture student from the Philippines. I am really driven by my passion for design, creativity, and storytelling through spaces. My journey in architecture has been truly challenging. I am excited to share my experiences with all of you.
🌟 A Bit About Me 👷🏻♀️
I initially joined Hive during my senior high school years. I was introduced to this wonderful platform by my General Biology and Practical Research 2 teacher, Mr. Rodel Catajay. However, life got busy that lead me to take a break. Now, I’m back—armed with a fresh perspective and a desire to socialize, exchange ideas, and engage with this loving community!
In addition to architecture, I enjoy sketching, photography, and learning different cultures. I have a passion for discovering architectural wonders, and also reading about traditional Filipino designs, and drawing inspiration from the organic forms found in nature.
🏗️ My Vision in Architecture
My ultimate ambition is to create innovative spaces that embody culture, identity, and modernity. I draw inspiration from Zaha Hadid’s fluid architectural style and the vibrant traditional elements of the Philippines, such as Bahay na Bato and intricate weaving patterns. Whether it's designing a monument [I made 2 monument plate design already], a futuristic residence [my plate on DESIGN 2 right now], or a public space. I aspire for my creations to convey meaningful narratives.
I've come to realize that Hive is not just a platform but it’s a community. I’m back to document my growth in architecture and also to connect, engage, and learn from others. I look forward to connecting with fellow creators, designers, and anyone who shares a passion for creativity and innovation!
