My immersion duty took me to work at the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) office situated in San Remigio Municipality. The work experience combined education with benefits because I assisted voters and acquired electoral knowledge through government services that influence the community.
The COMELEC staff members helped voting participants by providing assistance with document encoding.
I supported voters in understanding their election papers since they faced reading challenges at my COMELEC immersion site. My volunteer work included helping multiple people primarily elderly persons with reading election documents through direct assistance and support. The sense of accomplishment came to me when voters expressed gratitude for helping them through their voting process.
