Hello, amazing people! How are you? I hope and pray you are all doing great.
For this blog, I am sharing our random search of a coffee in the mountains of Cebu City.
We were out in the city once again and since we did not have work-related appointments this time, we decided to go out and see how we could spend the rest of the day together.
Having to survive a day without coffee sounds impossible. We are both into coffee, aside from we are both into each other. Hahaha! With this common denominator that we have, we don't need so much time deciding where to go on random dates. If someone suggests having coffee, the other one, right then and there, agrees. Without taking this sharing too long, we decided to travel to the mountains of Cebu City and fortunately, we bumped into 21 Kilometers Coffee.
Going there, the sky started to darken and by the look at it, we knew it will rain.
Darkness started to consume the entire surroundings but some people were still on their place, enjoying the view of the mountains.
As soon as we met, eye to eye, with the 21 Kilometers Coffee, I stepped out of the vehicle and hurriedly ordered two cups of brewed coffee for takeout. We don't want the rain to hit us since it would be a hassle driving while raining, knowing how slippery the road may get on a rainy day.
As I was waiting for the coffee, I roamed around the area and took photos of it. But since the sky was already dim, I couldn't get great photos of it too. (My apology for this imperfect, not well-planned approach to taking photos).
The mountains were almost invisible.
They have seats and tables for those who want to dine in. (They also serve sumptuous meals.)
Before I could take pictures of the whole place, the coffee was ready and a beep saying "hurry" sounded.
No matter how badly I wanted to stay in the place, my feet were leading me back to the vehicle as I could feel the big and heavy raindrops hurriedly falling into the ground. And just as after I got in the vehicle with the coffee, the rain started to pour heavily.
If I were a coffee, then he must be the rain. Because who wouldn't love a coffee on a rainy day? Hehehe. A cup of coffee is perfect on a rainy day just as I exist perfectly for him. Hahaha! (Seriously, there are some who make coffee a part of their routine everyday, regardless of the weather.)
The coffee here at 21 Kilometers Coffee tastes like no other and the view makes it tastes even better.
I wish I had stayed longer here if it wasn't because of the rain. But still, I was grateful that we arrived home safe and sound. And the rain did not hit the city so badly.
21 Kilometers Coffee is located at Cantipla 1 Tabunan, Cebu Transcentral Highway, Cebu City. Use Google Maps for easy locating of the coffee shop.
Thank you for reading. Be safe. Be well. Until the next writing.🤍
