Hello Hivers!!! Today im gonna share you my artworks.I thank you for all your support in my last blog.
Province of Bukidnon has rich in different cultures and tribes.These tribes are known to live on the mountains.Annaully they Celebrate Indigenous people month on the whole month of October.Where they presides a Ritual asking guidance to Magbabaya(God),tribal dance,tribal singing,mural contest and etc.
Before the contest starts. They screening all contestants by submitting their drafts work related to Indigenous People.We were many on the audition and its really hard to pass due to many pro artist joined.Unexpectedly, they message me the result.Luckily I pass the screening for mural.They congratulated me and I was so happy for the result.I really give my best on the screening test.
They said mural contest was related to the theme of the Celebration."Youth empowerment and Resiliency in the amidst of pandemic".I studied it first and conceptualized what would be the possible vision I wanted to be.As you can see, photos above was the best pictures to portrayed the said Theme.It took 8hours to finish my mural.I will show you my different pictures of my mural.Just scroll down.

The Process:
Being part of Indigenous people's tribe(Higao-non) is an honor to paint what my cultures legacy even though i have 1/8 blood lumad from my grandfather's side still i manage to learn our dialects and cultures.
The photo above was taken last October,2021.The narrative of that photo got Champion for Indigenous people's mural contest.It was a battle of young artist but reality reveals there is only one champion and that was me.It is hard for me to compete because many are pro.
