Junior high school has a big impact on me. It changed me to the better. I was able to learn different things, discovered many friends, and more importantly found myself. To be able to complete junior high school is a big accomplishment in itself. Hola! I'm glad you're reading this. Today, let's talk about how my moving-up ceremony went.
The event starts at 2 p.m. in the San Remigio complex, but we were tasked with arriving at 1 p.m. so that we would be complete because our section is first in line. I arrived at 1:30 p.m. and was shocked because all of my friends were fully dressed and so pretty. The complex was really full since graduating students are still not done with their ceremonies, so we just wait outside. Once they were done, we were given 30 minutes to line up and prepare ourselves for the profession together with our parents.
After the profession is done, the event starts with the entrance of the colors. After that, the Lupang Hinirang, then the prayers, followed by the local hym, and finally the sugbo hym. We weren't allowed to bring our phones during the event to prevent disruptions and to let us fully focus on the speaker.
As the event went on finally the awarding ceremony arrived. I was really happy and proud of myself that I was able to achieve With High Honor along with the service awards. As I walk to stage along with my mother I was actually stunned when the speaker announced my service in chess which I did not expect but happy at the same time. My mother also congratulated me in stage while putting the medals in my neck which made melt in warm.

After that, we sang our moving up songs, "Salamat" and "In This Moment", accompanied by small actions. These songs focus on thanking our teachers, especially our parents, who were a big part of our lives and were able to help us achieve our dreams. We convey the song with a lot of emotion to let them feel how grateful we are for their guidance. Furthermore, the event ends successfully and smoothly at 6:00 pm. It took longer than I thought but it was all worth it. My older sister bought me a flower bouquet. I was really happy, especially when the color is my favorite. I'm glad that she remembers it.

As the event ends we were given time to have some pictures by section, at the same time we take pictures together our friends and family. I also gave my friends some dollar keychains to wish them successful in the future. Even if we will be separated in senior high school I'm still rotting for their success.
When we got home, I immediately hugged my grandma. She wasn't able to come because her knees were hurting, so we just showed her pictures and videos of the event. She was laughing and smiling, which also made me happy.
For those who also a competent, congratulation on finishing your junior high school course! I would like to appreciate through this milestone the great progress, learning and memories you encountered during this period of your life. It is through commitment, persistence and resilience that brought you to where you are today; and for that I am so proud of what you have done.
