I went to my bed a bit late last night, 9:30 pm, when I decided to set aside my phone and sleep. I got busy reading manhwa last night, and I'm reaching the ending already. But I had to stop at chapter 79, the final was at chapter 82, lol, just a few more chapters. The thing is, if I sleep a little later than that, I might have a hard time sleeping. And so, I put my phone into sleep mode and lay on my bed.
Bad news, I can't sleep! I can't force myself to sleep either, which I never experienced before. Just turning my thoughts off will later put me to sleep. But last night was different, what made it worse was the postnasal drip. I can feel the mucus dripping from my nose going down to my throat, and I can't help but overthink. My heart's thumping really fast too, it's not really a good night.
I need to sleep! So I forced myself once again. But then Ikay and Toktok are making noises in the kitchen. Toktok is scratching and biting the cardboard outside, while Ikay just decided to steal some dried fish. It's already 10:30 pm, and I feel like everyone is trying to ruin my night. I actually just want to go back to reading again, but I had to stop myself. That's a bad idea!
11:30 pm and I'm still wide awake, it's not helpful that it was hot last night. I decided to get my earbuds and connect them to my phone and started to listen to some calming songs, from Tagalog to Japanese songs. I couldn't sleep immediately even after that, but it's still helpful because hours after that, I finally fall asleep. I woke up at 5 am, and I don't feel good, maybe because 5 hours of sleep is not enough, I usually sleep for 7 to 8 hours.
I don't feel well, and I'm in a bad mood. I even had a small fight with Mommy D because of this shitty mood of mine. Lol. So, for me to cool down, I decided to go downstairs to my mama's garden. I'm out there after boiling hot water, of course I didn't forget my responsibility. After that, I feed our cats, and then while waiting for them to finish, I go down to where the garden is and look at everywhere while trying to think about my bad action.
I know what I did and said is really bad, hahhh, it's hard to control my emotions if I'm too annoyed. Then with all the things I had to do, I felt like questioning everything. Doing that is really a bad decision, only after saying and acting rude do I realize that. Aigoooo. That time I just wanted to be an eggshell, empty and doesn't have to do anything or think much.
By the way, Mama decided to put these empty eggshells here. I asked her this morning why, and she said, "A design," lol. Like (≧▽≦). Talking to Mama helps me cool down, lol. And I actually find these eggshells here pretty being displayed here. And with its pretty background, it becomes even prettier. Would you agree?
I got better after staying downstairs. After that, I went back to the house and talked to Mommy F, asking if she wanted to buy something in the market. She said she needs avocado, and so I and Mama readied ourselves a bit and went on our way to the public market. It's really hot, my goodness! I saw a yellow flower on the way there.
We didn't stay that long in the market, we just bought one avocado, which cost 44 pesos. It's ₱120 per kilo, so expensive. Then I bought fish and vegetables for our lunch. I am craving okra and sweet potato leaves, but they're not available. So I bought just 30 pesos of okra and 20 pesos of pechay. And here's our lunch.
I finish cooking the fish and the veggies much earlier, so I still have time to play with our cats in the backyard. I let them follow me. So while they're playing, I was just looking around, and that's when this thing caught my attention, big, dried leaves with the small tomato plants. I find it cute, so I decided to take a photo. So that's how my day went. The start was kind of bad, but I'm glad it ended well. This is what the typical day for me, except that midnight thoughts and staying awake for hours until midnight. Doing house chores, going to the market, cooking and feeding and playing with the cat. It's always that boring but fun routine. How about yours?
