Mama complained to me about her new FM radio. She bought it online, I did the ordering process, and after days of waiting, it finally arrived. It was supposed to be one year old next year in January, but then it suddenly stopped functioning. It's the rechargeable kind of FM radio. It has other functions like Flashlight, she can play a song via Bluetooth, and, of course, the main thing, which is the FM/AM. She has a favorite station here in our place, but now she can't listen to it anymore. She really likes that radio because she can listen to this particular station while playing Candy Crush on her phone.
Mama thinks the problem is on it's battery, so she wants to buy a new battery for it. But then, if it's the bettery that is the problem, why she can't play it when it is connected in the socket? She's not sure either, but she still wants to try. And so we headed to the market to try our luck to look for a battery. Yep, she wants me to accompany her, lol. But before that, she asked me to check its price in an online shopping app. The price of it is not cheap, the battery is big, which is why just one battery is more than $1 already. After that, she decided to check first if she could find a cheap one in the market.
So our first stop was here, this store was just located on the sidewalk. They sell a lot of items, from clothes to toys, jewelry, and some tools. I bought earrings from them before, sad I lost the other one. They sell affordable things here, I think they are in a good location, but Bansud still prefers to order online. It actually amazes me that this store is still operating.
Mama tried to look for the battery she needed, but unfortunately she couldn't find it. She also asked the saleswoman just to make sure, but they don't really have this size. They only have the triple and double A sizes.
Here's our next stop, they sell different kinds of items, including appliances. The owner of this shop also repairs some appliances, that's the reason why they have different kinds of items, including parts of this and that. And lucky for Mama, because they have the battery that she needs. The bad news is that it is more expensive than the one I saw in the online shop app. In the end, she didn't buy anything. She decided to try the one in an online shopping app.
But anyways, let me share how clean and quiet the way here is. It's 3 p.m., but the road is empty, almost no one to see here. My introverted side is jumping in joy, but for the businessmen and women here, it's seriously a bad thing. But well, people flock in here in the morning and afternoon, so I'm sure they got a lot of customers too during that time.
The weather is fine too ,perfect weather for a quick walk, right?
Were done looking for a battery, so we headed next to the market. I saw some fruit vendors selling fruits here. I know the woman selling these fruits here, she also collects junk as her other job. She's one hardworking woman, that's for sure.
Our next stop was here. Mom bought rice for her and for her pets. Look how expensive a kilo of rice is now. Everything is expensive now, Aigooo.
And the next location was here, it was just a quick stop at the wet market to buy fish for the cat. Mama already bought a chicken head for the dog, the cat doesn't like chicken, so she really needs to buy a separate viand just for them.
We also stop by this store to buy a liter of vinegar. It is made from coconut water by fermenting it. Not sure what's the process, but by doing it, you'll get a sour-like vinegar liquid on it. This one's really affordable, so Mama prefers this one.
After that, it is time to go home. And because its not that hot, we took our time walking. But Mama is walking faster than me because she's carrying a heavy things, lol.
