Brief Introduction
Hello there everyone from the HivePH community!
I am @saydie and this is my 2nd entry for @acidyo's of this Hive Business Card Design Contest test running it for the HivePH community. While I am not an expert on editing pictures, I always do my best to make the banners for my blogs and some people think that they are good so when I saw the post, I challenged myself to create another Business card. Here is how I did it.
Preparing Source Images
For this design I used the same image that I already have which is the logo for HIVE and the HivePH logo which I get from dbuzz then the social media logos that I edited using photoshop but I also included another 2 images which is a black and white Philippine map and a hive wallpaper.
Creating the Front Layout
Color Codes
Red 01: e41c36 (Majority)
Red 02: f80a0a (Used in Barcode box only)
White: ffffff (Majority)
White: f80a0a (Join text)
Unlike the first design, I started this one with adding a background with half red and half black using Fill Layer on photoshop then added the hive wallpaper that I get to the black part of the background. It was set at 50% opacity so that the back background can be seen.
Next, I added the Philippine map and put 1 1px stroke on it then add shadows on it at 100% opacity with an angle of 120 degree. The distance and size of the of the shadow is both at 5pc and the distance was at 10 px.

After that, I proceed with adding some phrase which I copy from the https://hiveonboard.com/ together with a big HIVE logo which was the same image as before.
Finally, I added the QR code for the site, place some lines on it and input the website.

Creating the Back Layout
For the back layout, I keep some of the elements that I made with the front design but made some changes on it like the hive wallpaper has now covered the whole area and the Philippine map was retain but it was placed behind the HIVE wallpaper and the blend options were removed and made the surface of the map with HIVE shapes.
I also changed the text, replacing the word " revolution" to "Philippines" and replaces the QR code with the discord channel of HivePH then I added the edited social media logos together with the links .
Finally, I made some lines and insert the HIVE logo added the phrase " Mula Batanes hanggang Julo", Batanes being the farthest island on the top and Julo being the farthest island at the bottom. This was a popular phrase among us Filipinos and can often be heard on the Philippine noon time show Eat Bulaga.
