Everybody has a plans for our future and we should keep on the sail to get in our direction and this is a big challenge to one of us.
Hello, my hive friends!
How are you feeling today? Hope you're well and great. What a beautiful day! This inspired me to share with you how my students are determined to achieve their dreams.
I was one of the speakers to discuss those interesting topics about Career Guidance. The grade 10, grade 11, and grade 12 learners were lucky to have this subject. When I was their age, I wasn't able to have this kind of subject wherein learners or students were given a guide on their future careers.
My topic was entitled " Reaffirming the chosen track" and one of the activities that gives me more interest was " Dressing Up mini me" wherein there going to dress up the doll based on their curriculum exits.
I was amazed as I roomed around. They were so excited to draw and dress up their Mini me. They were going to draw their chosen path after they will graduate from Senior High School.
Some of the learners were excited but hesitant about what and how to draw. They were laughing at each other when one of them start to move their pencil.
Some were imagining their self what they want to be and trying to sketch something on their paper. I enjoyed watching them while they were laughing.
The other students search images from the internet based on what they wanted to be or the curriculum exits they wanna go.
Some of them were so serious about making their sketch that they wanted to make them on their own, meaning no classmates around so that they can seriously draw what he wanted to express.
As I turned around the other corner I saw a group of students who were seriously making their activity. Their style was different from their other classmates, they made their activity by letting their classmates see their works and they told me that it would be better if their classmates could see it so that if there was something that need to change they could immediately change. Wow, I was amazed! Open for corrections.
All of them were eager to sketch their desired future career. Boys and girls focused their attention to make the activity successful and I was very proud of them.
I requested the first three of them who got their work done to have a picture of their activity and I asked them what they sketch and what will be their plans to make their chosen career a successful one.
They explained and I was amazed when they answered my questions, every one of them has already their own action plans for their future.
These were some of the student's great works.
As I collected their works, I observed many of them wanted to be Police someday.
I was looking forward to seeing them someday, successful in their chosen careers. May God bless and guide them in their chosen path. I know this is a challenge for them.
That's all for now my hive friends. Thank you for spending time reading until here. See you in my next blog. God bless.
