Hello, Hive Fam! How is your weekend? To all of us just keep yourself safe. These months of April and May have a striking impact on heat waves. Since March is fire prevention but according to the weather forecast of PAG-ASA,(Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, And Astronomical Services Administration) month of April to May 2024 the PAG-ASA Board denounced that our solar system was implicated in a very terrific heat index ranging to 40-42+Degree Celsius.
This has once happened when our Philippine Area of Responsibility never occurred. Up to 20-25 typhoons land in our A.O.R. a year. That is the time the EL NINO PHENOMENON happened.
It is dangerous for people to go outside and to go to the farmland while heat indexes will range from 40-45 degrees Celsius. The babies, kids, toddlers or people with high blood pressure and aged people are not supposed to be outside of the house. These people should be staying at home to be protected from the extremely dangerous heat of the sun.
The DENR (Department of Environment and Natural Resources) together with the PENRO And the DA (Department of Agriculture) make parameters to prevent any untoward incident due to the Severe effects of El Nino.
With the Corporations of DENR and the PHILIPPINE AIR FORCE, There are some precautionary measures which are to create artificial Raindrops. In selected areas, it depends only when there are light clouds where cloud seeding has to be done and can probably produce Raindrops.
This extreme heat can cause a wildfire, insufficient water supply to irrigation for rice fields, the shutdown of any power plants, and the shutdown also for Any establishment that is dependent on water supply.
To prevent any unexpected incident to the people and health conscious—please stay hydrated.
AGRI-Technicians this time will strictly monitor for Hungry and Broilers Industry to be hydrated always and closely monitor for the water source.
We can deny that based on medical records from government hospitals one cause of death is a heart attack, mild stroke or severe cases because of exposure to the heat of the sun. That’s why I made this blog to make everyone aware of the effects of sunlight during this time.
This content might not only be exclusive for human beings but for all including animals, trees, and all living things that are devastated now by the heat of the sun. It can cause severe damage to us and everything within.
I Hope Government officials will do parameters about these cases. The DENR with the corporations of the Philippine Air Force have conducted cloud seedings in very expensive ways and highly manifestation from the expert personnel of DENR Together with the Phil.Air force.
Other governments spend millions just to cover up the laziness of people was always burning plastics and different excess materials.
Upper barangays are suffering and affected by the shortage of water sources. It is highly demanded in the daily life of people. It is wisdom that says water is life but this time facing scarcity and shortage from water sources.
DROUGHT:
A period of dryness especially when prolonged heat specifically causes extensive damage to rice fields, crops and which are now included humans and Animals directly affected.
The source from MCWD is not enough to supply thousands of cubic metric liters of water every day in different cities and barangays.
The local government units are planning to supply water to the affected families using their fire trucks, and water tankers to sustain their daily needs, for cooking, drinking and taking a bath.
However, sustainable water sources are limited and are provided from private landowners of their watersheds. There are also private sectors that are selling cubic of water, using IBC tanks, and plastic tanks and using their cargo trucks to haul cubic of water delivered to establishments and poultry farms that lack a water source. The depths are not enough to supply the whole facility as a source of water.
Poor families can't even provide this high-paying daily needs and now facing a shortage of water it is an additional burden to our Filipino people.
I hope the government officials can make long-term solutions for these since this is a prolonged or chronic problem shortage every year and that was expected for April to May since the Philippines belongs to the ring of fire.
We can prevent natural calamities like El Nino by planting thousands of trees and securing and protecting our watersheds.
