Hello everyone!
If there's one thing I won't regret here in Hive is knowing a lot of people who became my constants through the years. Greatest example is @indayclara. And it's her birthday today! She might not be too active here, but we are always in constant communication.
Since we are both busy "adulting" and working night shifts, we often call each other in the middle of the night just to have a companion while working. When my sister was hospitalized and I couldn't bear going home without breaking down, I stayed at her apartment for more than a week just so that I could sleep. She never failed to feed me during those times. That's why I'll always be grateful to her.
A little bit of history: We have known each other since 2018 and that's because of Hive. She worked in Manila and Iloilo for two years, and we stopped communicating in those two years. When the pandemic came, I didn't realize we resigned from our engineering work at almost the same time. There was an instance when I couldn't stop thinking about her for three days straight. On the third day, I messaged her just to know what she's been up to. She told me that it was a good thing I messaged her because she was also wondering what happened to me. We agreed to meet up and the as they say, "the rest is history". We have been inseparable since.
We often joked that we shouldn't argue with each other because we know so much about our shenanigans that we are each other's downfall. Sometimes it's just about being there and she never failed to be there when I was at the lowest point of my life. After what we've been through, I can confidently say that if ever, for whatever reason, I accidently kill someone and tell her about it, she would help me hide the body. And it's very rare to have a friend who has nothing but best intentions for you.
The Birthday Celebration
We agreed to meet at IT Park to watch the live-action remake of How to Train Your Dragon. We both love the animated movies and would love to see if the live-action stayed true to the original animated classic.

Since the our schedule was still at 1:00 PM, we had lunch first at Fuwari Pancake Station.

The food was good. It wasn't the best, but it's hearty and filling. I was too full after that I got sleepy, but we still have a movie to watch.
How To Train Your Dragon

I really enjoyed the movie! It was so nostalgic and the live-action stayed true to its source. I was just a little bothered by how pointy Mason Thames' (Hiccup) nose is. 😅

I won't spoil the movie, but I highly recommend it. If you're a fan of the original animated movie, you'll love this one. It's not cringey and so unlike the Avatar live-action and even One Piece. The actors are also good!
Back to @indayclara:
Happy Birthday, gurl! Laban lang jud ta ani pirmi bisan wa tay kontra. Just know how I appreciate you. The fact na naghimo ko post just for you means something kay di raba ko tig greet gali sa akong mga pamilya. 😂
Whatever you choose in life and wherever destiny takes you, please know that I'll always support you and I'm just a call away. Kudkud!
P.S. Salamat sa imong EX kay wa koy gasto ani na gala. 😝
