Hello everyone!
Merry Christmas to all of you especially to those who donated to my fundraising campaign for the Christmas Party for the pupils of Amancion Elementary School! We almost reached the target! Like it's just 32 HBD away from the 500 HBD target, but converting it to Philippine peso is around PHP 25,000 which is my intended budget.
Thank you so much to the donors! You are the true angels of this project.

The original plan was to go to Amancion tomorrow (December 27, 2022), stay overnight at the school, and then have the party the next day (December 28, 2022). However, due to the bad weather, we decided to postpone the party to January 4, 2023. This is not solely our decision, but also at the request of the teachers. The school is far in the mountains that a slight rain can cause the path to be slippery. On top of that, some kids will cross creeks and rivers and we all wanted the safety of everyone involved. We are very excited, but we have to postpone because based on weather forecasts, rain and thunderstorms will dominate in the next few days.

Instead of sulking about the weather, we decided to be better prepared for the party. We already bought raincoats and water bottles for the kids, but we still lack the boots and slippers. Originally, it was only raincoats and boots, but the teachers added their request the water bottles and slippers. That's why I decided to extend this fundraising campaign and have this update as another avenue for those who haven't donated yet. For those who already donated in the first post, you're good. You don't have to donate more.

When we checked the prices of the items, the boots are a little bit expensive that's why we didn't buy them yet. The boots are at around $6 each while the raincoats are at around $3 and the slippers and water bottles are at $2 each. I am seeking to have an additional 200 HBD to cover those items that we haven't bought yet. We are also planning to print a Hive tarpaulin which @indayclara has volunteered to design. If there are still enough funds, we'll print Hive stickers which we will stick to the water bottles, and have a loot bag printed with Hive logo.

Those items above were not included in the first plan because we lacked the time, but since it was postponed, we might as well consider more exposure for Hive out there.
All rewards of this post will go to the project. Unfortunately, I forgot to set @reward.app as beneficiary, so I'll just use my liquid Hive for whatever HP equivalent is accumulated from this post.
