Do you enjoy watching a motocross event? Well, my husband was an avid fan and I only liked it because he like it and so did our son.

Since he likes motocross events, he knows when and where it happens and if it is near, he takes us with him especially when I have no work and the kids have no class or when they don't go with my mum in church.
Anyway, this blog is much more of a diary of our family adventure. These pictures were taken on August 14, 2022 and I just want to share it with you because it means so much to me.
Morning Cuddles and an inflatable toy
My son woke up late and wanted me badly, he used to wake up with me beside him and we cuddle a lot; perhaps he wants me to fill in the time when we are not together because of my work.
Later when we are already prepared to go to the motocross event, my daughter, Laling bought a toy from the store and we call it plastic balloon, when do you call this one?
Have you played with this in your childhood days?
It came in a small tube with a small straw and one had to take out what's inside the tube on the end of the straw and we blow it to make and inflatable toy. When it comes to its maximum, the balloon would brake, and when the air inside s too low, one could poke a hole and blow some air inside and seal it too.
Motocross
I honestly could not see the riders play because they were too far away and I was very busy watching my kids and ensuring their safety.
Race track was too far and th starting line was even further.

My daughters are busy watching where the riders were while eating green mango.
First, we made a stop beside our friend who sells mango on the event, they have an umbrella huge enough to shelter us from the sun's scorching heat so we stayed even though we were too far away.
The sun was too bright; son harbored my sunglasses.

It's hard to see who went first on the race.
Soon the kids complained about being thirsty and pointed out to buy jelly. The husband willingly bought for them.
Stick Friend
Soon enough, my kids lost their interest on the race and found a stick insect. I did not know who found who but @eylii was already letting it crawl on her hands while laling wanted to pet it too.
But we soon let it go on on the grass. perhaps the area was their home and was disturbed by the people that came to the event.

In order to stay with our friend and not get kicked out, we bought mango from them. I don't like green mango that much but this time,I got interested because the salt they are using to flavor it with comes with a crushed chilies and it was my first time seeing that one. I also added soy sauce mixed with vinegar (I don't h=know why they had to mix vinegar when the mango is already sour enough); anyway, it tastes good.
Leaving the game and going to the farm.
After an hour of watching the race, my husband noticed that we are not enjoying it anymore. He too was growing bored so he asked me if I wanted to go to the farm and I said yes sow we did. That time, we had cassava plants in the farm and we decided to take the weed off to help them grow faster.
We took the shortcut; my son was too small to walk on the thick vegetation so my husband carried him on his shoulders while I and Laling were behind him. Eylii was leading him, showing how well she know the road since she often goes with my mother everyday.
Buy while we are making our way to the farm, thick rain clouds were already ahead of us; we were confident at first that it will just be blown by the wind away so we pursued and arrived on our crops.
And as soon as we arrived, the dogs probably heard us and went to us. Perhaps they are thinking we brought food for them but we did not and I regret that. I felt sorry for them.
Our crops are our happiness and that;s my husband;'s arm measuring how tall the cassava had grown.
What I love about being in the farm is that it is very okay to sit at the soil just like my kids do. The land here is clean, not like from where we live where there were many people and we are not sure whether they spit on the land and pollute it.
I and my husband were not able to bring weeding tool and just used our hands in plucking out the weeds. Despite that, we finished this big.
My husband went first to where the weeds are the thickest and my son went after him.
Unfortunately, the rain cloud gathered and drove us away sooner than we wanted to go. Funny because I love the rain but this time, we are running from it. Well, if not for protecting the kids from getting wet and sick, we would have enjoyed the rain back then. It was already drizzling when we took our way back but God is good, we were still able to arrive home before the heavy rain came to the ground.
To avoid my phone from getting damaged from the rain, I did not dare take more photos and kept it in a safe while we traveled. Thank God we arrived home safely despite my husband running the motorcycle faster than usual to avoid the kids from getting wet.
