Umarım iyisinizdir veya iyi olmaya çalışıyorsunuzdur. Ben iyi değilim dersem yeridir. Artık bir süre zorunda olduğum hâlde kesinlikle et tüketebileceğimi düşünmüyorum. Sebebi ise tamamıyla Nabi ve onun filmleri.
Hatta bir de üzerine bugün dalga bile geçti... Yaşlanıyorum ben, midem her şeyi kaldırmıyor öyle artık. Şaka bir yana bu filmden yine herhangi bir spoiler kaygısı taşımadan bahsedeceğim. Lütfen bu filmin ilginizi çektiğini düşündüğünüz anda okumayı bırakın.
Sevgilimin bana değişik bir romantik film olarak söylediği bu korku romantik film 2019 yılında seyircisi ile buluşmuş. O zamanlarda ve hâlâ korku filmlerine ilgim devam ediyor elbette. Fakat ne yazık ki korku filmlerinde iğrençlik ve korku arasındaki aslında pek de ince olmayan çizgiyi geçtiklerinde benim midem bulanıyor takdir ederseniz.

Lima Das ve Arghadeep Baruah'ın baş rolünü üstelendiği bu inanılmaz aşk hikâyesi akıllara durgunluk verecek şekilde. (Evet, sayın seyirciler 😂) Başlangıçta Nirmali, yani Lima, ve Sumon, yani Arghadeep, yaş farkına ve Nirmali'nin evli olduğu gerçeğine rağmen güzel vakit geçiriyorlar. Bir de Nirmali'nin bir oğlu var. Ah, bir de neredeyse her cümlede ana konu olan ve sürekli kullanılan bir kelime var; et.
Hatta Nabi'ye "Ne kadar da çok etten bahsediyorlar böyle." tarzında bir cümle kurduğumu hatırlıyorum.
Bahsettiğim bu güzel vakitleri geçirirken elbette bir hikâye uydurmak zorundalar değil mi? Burada ise devreye yakın sayılabilecek arkadaş Jumi devreye giriyor. Elbette bu arkadaş da masum bir melek değil. İkisi de bir noktada birbirlerinin açıklarını kapatıp, hikâyeleri oluveriyorlar.
Neyse. Daha fazla uzatmadan gelmek istediğim noktaya geleyim. Beyefendi, kadın evli diye dokunmak istemiyor. Ne kadar da dokunaklı değil mi? Ama kadınla flörtleşmeyi biliyor...
Genç adam tam bir et hastası. Her öğün verseniz tabak tabak çiğ et yiyebilecek tiplerden gibi geldi bana. Ayrıca bir "et klüp" isimli bir klüp de var ortada ve Sumon, arkadaşını tedavi eden Nirmali'ye yemek hazırlıyor. Borcunu ödemek ve flörtleşmek isteyen Sumon ne kadar da masum böyle.
Biraz zaman geçiyor. Benim anladığım kadarıyla Nirmali yediği yemeklerden memnun fakat Sumon aradaki etkileşimin azlığından pek de memnun değil gibi. Bu yüzden genç adam, kadınla yakınlaşmak için daha farklı yollar arıyor kendince. Bir et sevdasını da unutmayalım lütfen.
Yemeğin içerisinde mutlaka et olması gerekiyor değil mi? Nirmali ile, ona dokunmadan, yeni etkileşim yolu bulmaya çalışan Sumon sonunda bir şey buluyor. Kendi etinden bir parça ile ona yemek hazırlamak. Çünkü et yenir değil mi? (Protein tozuna mı geçsem diye düşünüyorum şu anda.)
Sumon'un veteriner arkadaşı, onun tezi için örnek olduğunu düşünerek örnek adı altında bacağından ve kolundan et kısımlarını alarak açtığı kısmı dikişlerle kapatıyor. Filmin sonlarına doğru Sumon'un yürüyüşündeki değişiklik oldukça belirgin.
Sumon bu örnekleri alarak oldukça özenli bir şekilde yemekler hazırlıyor ve daha da gerici olanı Nirmali bu yemekleri severek yiyor. Hem de sanki 100 yıldır aç kalmış ve ilk defa 1 lokma ekmeğe ulaşıyormuş gibi. Beni tüylerim diken diken oldu açıkçası.

Neyse. Finali burada söylemeyeyim fakat oldukça heyecanlı bir şekilde ilerlediği kesin. Oyuncuların performanslarını çok beğendim. Düşünsenize yamyam olan bir kadını oynamak hakkında bişr teklif gelse size ilk tepkiniz nasıl olurdu?
Ya da Sumon'un yerinde olsanız? Ben yapamazdım. Çok netim bu konuda.
Nabi'ye bu değişik romantik film için teşekkür ederim. Bana bir sürü duygu uçlarını yaşatan güzel bir filmdi. IMDb bu filme 7,8/10 vermiş. Benim için bu filmde aynı puanda. Küsüratı boş verin ve direkt 8/10 diyelim. Hatta kadının o yemekleri yediği kısımları hatırladıkça midem kavruluyor hâlâ.

This horror romantic movie, which my lover told me as a different romantic movie, met with its audience in 2019. Of course, I was and still am interested in horror movies. But unfortunately, when horror movies cross the not-so-thin line between disgustingness and horror, I get nauseous, if you appreciate.

This incredible love story starring Lima Das and Arghadeep Baruah is mind-blowing. In the beginning, Lima, aka Nirmali, and Arghadeep, aka Sumon, are having a good time despite the age difference and the fact that Nirmali is married. And Nirmali has a son. Oh, and there is a word that is the main topic of almost every sentence and is used constantly: meat.
I actually remember saying to Nabi, "They talk about meat so much." I'll never forget it.
While having these good times, of course, they have to make up a story, right? Here, Jumi, who can be considered as a close friend, comes into the picture. Of course, this friend is not an innocent angel either. At some point, both of them cover each other's loopholes and become each other's stories.
Anyway. Without further ado, let me get to the point I want to get to. He doesn't want to touch her because she's married. Isn't that touching? But he knows how to flirt with her...
The young man is a real meat-eater. He seems like the type who'd eat plates of raw meat for every meal. There's also a club called "meat club" and Sumon prepares food for Nirmali, who's treating his friend. How innocent Sumon is, wanting to repay his debt and flirt.
Some time passes. My understanding is that Nirmali is happy with the food, but Sumon is not happy with the lack of interaction. Therefore, the young man is looking for different ways to get closer to her. Let's not forget his love for meat.
There has to be meat in the dish, right? Trying to find a new way to interact with Nirmali without touching her, Sumon finally finds something. To prepare a meal for her with a piece of his own meat. Because meat is edible, right? (I'm thinking whether I should switch to protein powder right now.)
Sumon's veterinarian friend, thinking that it is an example for his thesis, takes meat from his leg and arm under the name of example and closes the opened part with stitches. Towards the end of the movie, the change in Sumon's gait is quite noticeable.
Sumon takes these samples and prepares meals with great care, and even more regressive, Nirmali loves to eat these meals. As if she has starved for 100 years and for the first time she is reaching a morsel of bread. It gave me goosebumps, to be honest.
One day Nirmali prepares a meal for him with a "sample" taken from her own leg, as she is a doctor. But when Sumon learns what meat it is, he can't take it and immediately vomits. At this point, I remember saying to Nabi, "This is how you react." The last time I watched a movie about cannibalism, I couldn't come to my senses for a while.
Anyway. I won't tell you the finale here, but it's definitely quite exciting. I really liked the performances of the cast. Imagine if you were offered to play a woman who becomes a cannibal, what would be your first reaction?
Or if you were Sumon? I couldn't do it. I'm very clear about that.
Thank you Nabi for this different romantic movie. It was a beautiful one that gave me a lot of emotional highs and lows. IMDb gave this movie a 7.8/10. For me, this is the same score for this movie. Forget the fraction and let's just say 8/10. In fact, my stomach still burns when I remember the parts where the woman eats those dishes.
