Hello, it's been about a month since the last post in this series. I'm sorry for taking such a long break, but time goes by fast. Today we are going to talk about one of the most basic things about Hive, Hive Power.
What is Hive Power?
Hive Power is basically the amount of Hive you have locked on the Hive platform. You can see your Hive Power and other people's Hive Power by going to the Wallet section. As you can see in the photo above, I currently have 18910 Hive locked in my wallet. The Hive Turkey community account has 83 locked Hives. So what is the difference between having more or less Hive Power? Hive Power determines the value you send to other posts when you vote for them. The more Hive Power you have, the more value the posts of the people you vote for get.
Why is it Important to Have Hive Power?
Hive Power is really your power in Hive. When you look at accounts on Hive, you'll often see that the accounts with the most reads and comments are the ones with the highest voting power. Of course, there are exceptions, but exceptions are the rule. When you have high Hive Power, if you vote for a post, you get attention. When you have only 1 cent of voting power, it's not so noticeable, as you'll agree. But if you can vote someone worth 1 dollar, you're sure to get that person's attention. Of course, voting for people doesn't necessarily mean that they will notice you and follow you.
Apart from that, Hive Power will also be very effective in voting for witnesses, which I will talk about later. So you can have more say in the decisions to be made about Hive. Not only that, you will also have a high influence in proposals. So you will have a big say in the projects developed on the Hive platform. I guess you want to be able to do these things on a platform you are a member of, right?
How to Get More Hive Power
It's basically the same answer as how you can have more Hives. You can buy Hive on the exchanges with your money, transfer it to the platform, lock it, and voila, you have more Hive Power! Or if you become an active user on Hive and share quality posts, people will vote for you and you will get Hive Power as your posts payout. If you convert the HBDs you get from your posts into Hive and lock them, you will move up faster. Or, to make this process easier, you can choose to receive rewards in the form of 100% Hive Power when you share your posts.
There are other ways to get more Hive Power. I told you about curation rewards in one of my previous posts. If you vote people up on a regular basis, you'll earn curation rewards, which will be credited to your account as Hive Power. Other than that, if you just keep Hive locked in your wallet, you will earn some Hive Power as an annual return on Hive Power. At the time of writing this post, this amount is 3.146%. So if you have 100 Hive Power, you will earn 3.146 Hive after 1 year and you don't need to do anything for that.

Peki az ya da çok Hive Power'a sahip olmanın farkı ne? Hive Power sizin başka gönderileri oyladığınızda onlara gönderdiğiniz değeri belirler. Ne kadar çok Hive Power'a sahipseniz oyladığınız insanların gönderileri o kadar çok değer kazanır.
Hive Power'a Sahip Olmak Neden Önemli?
Hive Power gerçekten sizin Hive'daki gücünüzdür. Hive'daki hesapları incelediğinizde genelde en çok okunan ve yoruma sahip olan hesapların yüksek oy gücüne sahip hesaplar olduğunu görürsünüz. Tabi ki istisnalar var ancak istisnalar kaideyi bozmaz. Yüksek Hive Power'a sahip olduğunuzda bir gönderiyi oylarsanız dikkat çekersiniz. Oy gücünüz sadece 1 cent olduğunda sizin de hak vereceğiniz üzere bu pek de dikkat çekici değildir. Ancak birini 1 dolar değerinde oylayabiliyorsanız emin olun o kişinin dikkatini çekersiniz. Sanırım üyesi olduğunuz bir platformda bunları yapabilmeyi istersiniz değil mi?

Temelde nasıl daha çok Hive'a sahip olabileceğinizle aynı cevaba sahip. Paranızla borsalar üzerinden Hive satın alıp onu platforma aktarıp kilitleyebilirsiniz ve işte daha çok Hive Power'a sahipsiniz! Ya da Hive'da aktif bir kullanıcı olursanız ve kaliteli gönderiler paylaşırsanız insanlar tarafından oylanırsınız ve gönderileriniz payout oldukça Hive Power elde edersiniz. Gönderilerinizden elde ettiğiniz HBD'leri de Hive'a dönüştürüp kilitlerseniz daha hızlı yükselirsiniz. Ya da bu süreci kolaylaştırmak için gönderilerinizi paylaşırken ödülleri %100 Hive Power şeklinde almayı seçebilirsiniz.
