Schools first raised the prices very high. They left many payment items out of the scope of the scholarship. They give scholarships for very little money. Actually, they don't want to give scholarships at all. The school fee with 75% scholarship is 260 thousand Turkish liras. Approximately $7300. The normal registration fee for the school is 350 thousand lira. No mathematical concept explains these numbers. Raise the price first, then give scholarships. Unfortunately, this is the last point that education has reached.
The situation is even worse at the other school. They offer a 40% scholarship, but the early registration campaign is much more affordable than scholarships. The biggest gain of private schools is meal fees. On average, every school asks for a meal fee of 80 thousand Turkish liras. This fee goes up to 150 thousand Turkish liras. School bus fees have also hit the ceiling. Some schools ask for a service fee of 100 thousad Turkish liras.

Son günlerde çevremde sadece okul parası konuşuluyor. Hangi okul daha iyi, hangisi daha uygun??? Kafamda sorular bitmiyor. Sanırım sizinle paylaşma sebebim de kafamın rahat olmaması. Benim sadece bir kızım var ama iki çocuğu olan arkadaşlarım mental olarak tukendiler. Bugün iki çocuğuna toplam 1.300.000 Türk parasına kayıt yaptıran arkadaşım oldu..Ve sadece ortaokul için. Dört yılda bir ev parası yapıyor. Acaba çocukları okutmak yerine onlara ev alsak daha mı akıllıca olur diye düşünüyorum?
Eğitime yapılan yatırım hiç bir zaman zarar olmaz. Ama artık bu algı yanlış gelmeye başladı. Okul hayatı boyunca üç ev alabilirim. Ama çocuk iş hayatında üç ev alacak parayı kazanabilecek mi?
