Eso es muchísimo. Claro considerando la altura en donde se encuentra la ciudad, la pelota viaja más lejos y podríamos excusar a ésta sección del equipo. Pero si usted ocupa el lugar 20 en bateo colectivo con un AVE .249, entonces ya podemos ver la mezcla que le llevó a ocupar el último puesto en la división oeste de la Liga Nacional.

In baseball there is a basic premise: if you want to win, you have to focus on getting a good corps of starters. It's that simple. Los venezolanos Germán Márquez y Antonio Senzatela volverán a lanzar ésta temporada y en Denver esperan su retorno para mediados de Mayo. Tanta es la calidad de Germán Márquez aún lesionado, que el equipo le ofreció extensión de contrato condicionado por dos años hasta finales del 2025 por US$ 20 millones, siempre que cumpla con varias salidas y cantidad de innings especificados en el convenio.

Ezequiel Tovar comenzó lenta su temporada de novato pero en Junio despegó para culminar con AVE .253, 15 jonrones y 73 impulsadas, liderando al equipo en éste apartado. También fue finalista del premio guante de oro, a pesar de no haber recibido votos para novato del año. Los Rockies no fueron especialmente agresivos en invierno, dado su limitado presupuesto.
