Todos los que algún momento me haya leído en esta comunidad, sabe que soy aficionado de Boca Juniors. Hace 15 años, desde que me empezó a gustar el fútbol, veo o mínimamente sigo sus partidos.
Everyone who has ever read my posts in this community knows that I am a fan of Boca Juniors. For 15 years, ever since I started liking soccer, I have watched or at least followed their games.
Lamentablemente, este equipo estaba pasando una muy terrible racha. Hace casi 4 meses que no ganaba un partido. Cosa que es algo muy grave viniendo del equipo o de uno de los equipos más grandes de toda América. Pero lo positivo y la razón por la que escribo este blog, es que las malas rachas se terminan y la lluvia tiene que parar en algún momento. Y así fue.
Unfortunately, this team was going through a terrible streak. It hadn't won a game in almost four months. That's a very serious matter for one of the biggest teams in the whole of America. But the positive thing, and the reason why I'm writing this blog, is that bad streaks come to an end and the rain has to stop at some point. And that's what happened.
Primero hay que ponernos en contexto, Boca Juniors no gana desde el 19 de abril. Su último triunfo había sido contra Estudiantes de la Plata, 2 a 0 por la liga local. Desde entonces, pasaron casi 4 meses donde no pudo conseguir una victoria. Incluso mereciéndolo, como por ejemplo, el famoso partido contra el Benfica por el mundial de clubes.

Se nota que ya no le da para más. Está lejos de ese goleador que supo ser. Es penoso que finalice su carrera dando lástima y siendo un chiste.

Por último, llegaría el tercer gol en el minuto 44 ST de la mano de Alan Velasco. Cosa que me terminó conmovido porque se puso a llorar luego de convertir. Se nota que liberó angustia y frustración por no haberle salido bien las cosas. Me alegro por él.

Mientras Riquelme siga siendo presidente, no siento que las cosas mejoren demasiado.
In conclusion, Boca Juniors broke their losing streak, but I don't think things will change much. I hope I'm wrong, but I think things will stay more or less the same and it will be a miracle if they manage to qualify for the next Copa Libertadores. As long as Riquelme remains president, I don't feel that things will improve much.
