Podemos todos coincidir que la temporada de los Ángeles Lakers ha sido desastrosa, pero si vemos las estadísticas de Lebron James también podemos coincidir que este hombre esta teniendo una temporada asombrosa, su baloncesto esta a otro nivel y fácilmente se puede ver reflejado en sus grandiosos números que para cualquier otro jugador lo pondrían en la lucha para MVP. Lo primero que puedo resaltar de su temporada es el PER, ahora mismo esta en 26.48 lo que lo ubica en el 4to mejor renglón de la NBA, eso nos dice la eficiencia de este jugador en cancha y es muy difícil ser tan eficiente para tu equipo cuando todos están jugando muy mal. Año tras año Lebron James ha tenido rendimientos muy altos, su eficiencia no es algo que se ponga en duda, pero es sorprendente cuando sabemos que tiene 37 años y aun sigue dominando el juego a tal magnitud que aunque su equipo esta muy mal, el puede mantener unas estadísticas asombrosas y eso para mi es brillante.

Los 3 jugadores que están por delante de Lebron James en cuanto a PER, militan en equipos que son contendientes al titulo con récord de mitad de tabla hacia arriba, pero en el top 10 solo encontramos a otro jugador que esta en un equipo un poco malo, pero con mayor proyección que los Lakers y es Karl Anthony Towns porque de resto todos son jugadores que están teniendo buena temporada con equipos que llevan igualmente un buen récord. Luego tenemos que Lebron James es segundo en promedio de puntos con 29.4, además promedia 8.1 rebotes y 6.2 asistencias lo cual es algo absurdo, esos números a su edad en una época donde la capacidad atlética predomina es impresionante y reafirma lo enorme que es el "King" James. Sus porcentajes de campo son muy buenos, casi que mantiene los mismos números de temporadas anteriores, pero es increíble que este promediando un 76% de tiros de libres, un apartado donde venia fallando en sus últimos años y vemos esta gran mejora esta temporada lo que nos dice que este hombre no se deja, siempre esta en proceso de evolución y buscando la perfección.

El equipo de los Ángeles Lakers no acompaña la gran temporada que esta teniendo Lebron James, por eso no creo que pueda ser considerado para jugador mas valioso, pero de igual forma es bueno resaltar estos números que esta teniendo James, pues creo que para los fanáticos nosotros los fanáticos de la NBA, es de gran satisfacción poder ver estas cosas, dentro de poco James se estará retirando así que somos afortunados de ver a un jugador que sigue luchando por todavía demostrar que es el mejor del mundo cuando ya no debería hacerlo, pero para llegar hacer de los mejores de la historia se debe tener esa mentalidad que tiene el "King" James y claramente sus números con 37 años son de un jugador MVP que si su equipo tuviera un mejor récord yo no tendría dudas en colocarlo como el gran contendiente a ganar ese reconocimiento.

Para mi Lebron James si el gran Goat de la NBA, aunque muchos podrán colocar a Michael Jordan, yo realmente no viví esa época, así que no me puedo inclinar hacia ese jugador, pues si me vi todos sus videos a igualmente su gran historia y su documental me confirmo que es una leyenda que será recordada para siempre no solo como el mejor de la historia en la NBA para muchos, si no también en el deporte en general, pero lo que yo he visto de Lebron James en toda su carrera es algo que no se compara con nada, pienso rotundamente que es el mas completo que hay en el baloncesto y quizás de la historia de la NBA. El jugador mas inteligente en una cancha de baloncesto que yo haya visto se llama Lebron, puedo decir que en la mayoría de todas sus jugadas elige la decisión correcta, donde no siempre el es el protagonista final, pues veo a Lebron James mas facilitador que anotador, solo que su gran habilidad lo lleva anotar muchos puntos y por ende también puede realizar muchas asistencias.

Lebron James defensivamente es muy bueno, puede tomar a cualquier jugador desde la posición 1 hasta la 4, puede coger muchos rebotes por partido gracias a su potencia física, luego puede anotar desde el poste bajo, media distancia y desde el año 2012 para acá se convirtió en un respetable jugador de la zona de triples lo que en sus comienzos no se veía. He podido notar como año tras años ha ido mejorando, primero fue eso lo de tiros a larga distancia, ya que en playoffs muchos equipos cerraban su penetración anulándolo, luego se convirtió en un jugador mas efectivo con buenos porcentajes en dobles, después empezó a crear mas jugadas para sus compañeros siendo el piloto oficial del juego y ni hablar las decisiones que ahora toma en los últimos cuartos cuando antes tendía hacer un poco mas apresurado y ahora luego eso cambio siendo un jugador mas inteligente en esos minutos de presión.

Lo mejor de todas sus mejoras es que siempre mantuvo su buena proporción de puntos, siempre he pensado que si Lebron James quisiera hacer 30 por noche, lo hiciera sin inconvenientes, pero eso no seria lo correcto porque mas bien le restaría a su juego, el hace jugar a su equipo y de eso se alimenta para poder brillar el también en la cancha. Posiblemente sus récords una vez se retiren sean difíciles de igualar, aunque algunos no les gusten los números, hay que decir que conseguir 10 mil asistencias, 10 mil rebotes y posiblemente ser el jugador con mas puntos en la historia de la NBA cuando se retire confirma que es mas que completo. Puedes tenerlo como segundo de la historia detrás de Michael Jordan o puedes tenerlo primero en la historia, pero menos de esos dos escalones no puedes colocar a James quien cada día aumenta mas su legado como leyenda de este deporte.
