Yay!!!!!
I woke up excited because I got a buzz from Hivebuzz, I am a year old on the blockchain and yes I want to celebrate my little win My Hive-versary..hehe
This post might be a bit lengthy, please bear with me. Hehe
Isn't it funny how time flies? I began to reflect on my journey so far and yes I would love to share with you.
I joined the blockchain last year in August simply because I love to write so much, at first I was sceptical about the whole thing because I was not a fan of the crypto space but then my love for writing overrode my fear and so I took a shot.
I began with Zero followers, zero HP and reputation 25๐, all of that wasn't even clear to me until people explained what it meant, I remember how I had low resource credit to carry out transactions like replying to comments, or even voting for people but today, my story has changed...
I am now on reputation 67, I have about 144 followers and my HP is almost at 900 though I had goals of hitting 1k Hp before now, it is what it is. And today I have enough resource credit to carry out transactions.
It's been a tremendous journey and I am thankful for all that Hive has taught me.
Hive taught me the power of engagement, I remember someone teasing me saying, Amie, you are everywhere on the blockchain. Yes that's right๐, nobody will find you if you don't find them simply because Hive is a vast space๐, I learned to genuinely visit other people's blogs read and leave very thoughtful comments on their blogs, this has also broadened my knowledge as I've learned a lot in just a little time about other people's culture, their views, varieties of music, Diy and what have you.
I found many great authors through dreemport, a site that I have come to love so much, I get to read five posts a day and genuinely curate, and this site has taught me the power of collaboration, support and lending a helping hand.
Hive taught me to be industrious and consistent, through all the prompts I have attempted I have learned industriousness, discipline and creativity.
Hive taught me resilience!! Yes please, every day isn't the good days where your votes will be pretty but then you have to bounce back and keep leaving quality content, it's not always about the money but about learning, growing and building friendships.
Hive taught me focus, I had goals here and being focused has helped me to reach most of them.
Here is my little accomplishment so far.
I can't believe I have written consistently seven days of the weeks for 6months.
I had made 400 posts so far, 4,000 comments, received 1,750 upvotes, replied 4,500 times and disturbed 50,000 votes. Just wow!!
A thousand journey begins with a step right? And I am so glad I took the step and I explored on my own.
I had some low moments too, I have had to battle with a bad phone which I made a rant about a time ago, ๐๐ I battled with bad power supply and even writer's block but I am excited I have found my way around these things with the help of the amazing people I have met here.
Hive is truly a safe space and it is for everyone, little wonder I keep telling those who care to join, to join without an iota of doubt.
Most times when I read the comments left by most of you on my blog, I feel motivated to want to go on
I appreciate all of you.

@caelum1infernum and @olawalium your poems are always amazing and I always look forward to reading them, I got inspired to drop my first poem by both of you, I always loved how Olawalium does the rhyme schemes in his poem.
@moremoney28 I definitely can't forget you, you taught me how to delegate Hive power, thank you.
@george-dee thanks for the line divider you made me even though I haven't used it yet, I changed my phone and lost access to it.๐
The list is inexhaustible, I could go on and on to give a big shout-out, but time will fail me, a lot of you have supported me in one what another even unknown to you, and I hope that my mention of a few specific names do not get anyone offended or excluded, I thank you so much.
I can't wait to do this again next year with you all and the new friends I am yet to meet along the way.
Cheers!!!๐๐๐
