Ideas to promote hive in my locality.

There are some basis to an effective marketing, this has to do with the data of the country or area, how to reach people and what they are expecting to hear, understanding the people will help you reach their heart and help them make the right decision.

Nigeria is a vast country with thousands of youths who have different skills, and those skills are what they can showcase on hive and bring more value to both themselves and hive blog.

Based on my research on how to attract people on hive, i have chosen some ways to promote hive.

Web 2 social media platforms.

Facebook and Instagram contains thousands of youths who have skills, so this is one place where you can promote hive and get peoples audience.

To get reach out to as many as possible, boasting of advert is important, so based on that i boosted my Facebook advert about hive so as to reach at least 1-2k people in a day, i also made available a WhatsApp number where i can be contacted for more information.

So this covers both my Instagram page and Facebook page, i will be replying to as many as possible who wil be interested in joining hive.

High institutions.

Nigeria has a lot of higher institutions with different skill departments, like music and craft, so visiting such place, and having a kind if seminar will also attract new users especially when they understand that hiveblog is just a way to build a better future for themselves.

Personally universities is part of my primary target for hive marketing because i have that strong belief that i will get committed people there

Radio advert.

This is another effective way to promote hive especially here in Nigeria, because many people listen to radio and youths are also listen to radio.
Hive marketing on as many as possible radio station will help to bring more people on hive.

Street hive marketing.

Yes many talented and skilled people are on the street hustling for what to eat, making out time to check on some shops like fashion and designers shop, artisan shops, and all skilled people on the street, street hive marketing is an effective marketing tip.

Attractive communities on hive for onboarding.

Communities that promotes skill and talents will be the best community for onboarding because people with skill will be happy to show what they can offer.

The @vibes music community has been an interesting community that attract people when i talk ti them about hive, currently i have been able to sign up two music producers @zumi22 and @saxyfie who are dedicated to what they do, they are ready to build both themselves and hive platform, there also many others who are music producers wait for their sign ups.
There are also other music community like afritune, lovers of music will definitely enjoy engaging in this communities and learning more.

#Hivediy is also another community that people are much interested in especially when they get to know that their skill cam fecth them money, fashion designers, bearders and stylish are much interested in the DIY community, where they can post their original work and build themselves financially.

Meetup will be coming soon.

Meetup helps to encourage users and also onboard new users because most people come with their friends who will be interested on hive.
Currently in Nigeria we are planning on a meetup that will hold on 6th July and the venue will be in the center if Aba Abia state Nigeria.

I have been in a meetup years back and it was really interesting, so we are putting effort to see how skilled people in Nigeria put all those skills in good use.

Conclusion.

Hive marketing requires time and resources but its a thing of joy to see when people put their skill to good use.

Nigerians are great people, and am certain that very soon many skilled people will join hive from Nigeria and they bring more value as they create just original content.
