"The beauty of sharing a wonderful opportunity is that it multiplies, creating a network of empowered individuals who uplift each other and create a wave of positive change." - Unknown
Grateful and empowered was I when I last attended the Hive Orientation and the OCD Onboarding Program participated by the teachers of Caduawan Elementary School, the teachers from the neighboring school (Tabogon District), and several college students. This time I was no longer the newbie whose eyes were filled with curiosity and amazement, but a proud Hiver in mind and at heart to have this privilege to share this truly wonderful, decentralized HIVE platform with others, especially my co-teachers.
The invitation came from @naymhapz who happens to have a sister in the said school. The whole faculty of this school was more than eager and interested to hear and be part of Hive. Thus we asked for time from two of the best people in Hive to facilitate the Hive Orientation. I waited for confirmation of the availability of our respected speaker and I was very thankful that finally, they confirmed and the good news is they will be bringing another speaker with them.
The Speakers: the bubbly and proficient @indayclara, the smart and Hive Alien @ybanezkim26, and the friendly and easy going @intoybugoy. These three individuals who love to spread the goodness of HIVE traveled approximately 3 hours just to be with us and facilitate the orientation and traveled back to their place for another 3 hours.
Because of the distance, our 3 speakers came a little late so I and Marfe took the opportunity to fill in the time by sharing our Hive Experiences and how fascinating this platform is. Not too long, they finally arrived and @indayclara set everything and the orientation began.
I could see excitement and interest on the faces of the participants. I knew they have been wishing for this moment to come. The whole room was then filled with enthusiasm as the long-awaited Hive Orientation will officially commence.
The orientation Proper
It was @indayclara who introduced herself first and welcomed everyone. She shared about her previous profession and how she changed her career from being a licensed engineer to a full-time Hive Blogger and Curator since the Covid-19 Pandemic. Listening to her, I couldn't help myself but be amazed at how dedicated and passionate she is to Hive.
After the welcome, the floor was given to @ybanezkim26 to discuss the Hive ecosystem. He humbly introduced himself first and then comprehensively discussed Hive. Hive can be overwhelming but he manages to discuss everything with in-depth information and explanation! It is evident that he is devoted to Hive. He's such an inspiration.
The Hive blockchain is new and unfamiliar to us, the teachers were all ears during the orientation. And after sir Kim, it was @intoybugoy who cheerfully discussed the PeakD interface, the communities, and on how to write our logs. He did it effortlessly.
After the other two speakers, @indayclara was back to discuss the most important things to do in Hive and what are the things one MUST do not to mess up his/her Hive journey. She elaborated on the guides and tips on creating content, the consequences of Plagiarism, and the reward system. As usual, she made everything crystal clear and easy.
After the orientation, Questions coming from the audience were entertained which also concluded the Hive Orientation.
The Audience's positive response.
The Hive orientation held at Caduawan Elementary School will surely yield fruit and will bring more people to Hive. The audience's enthusiasm during the orientation through taking pictures on every slide of the presentation, the sparkles in their eyes, and their curiosity will surely lead them here on this platform. Of course, these could not be possible without the input of our effective speakers (@indayclara, @ybanezkim26, @intoybugoy ) and the teacher/bloggers behind the preparation.
After the orientation, we had a photo op together with the attendees. We then had our small gathering as our post-birthday celebration of our dear indayclara.
The orientation was a success. I couldn't wait to meet those future bloggers here on Hive. Above all, I'm looking forward to another Hive Orientation in another school! Hive is a wonderful opportunity, together let's spread it and bring it to other people's door.
That's it for our Hive Onboarding Orientation held at Caduawan Elementary School. I hope you were inspired to spread Hive too after reading this. 😍
I wish you all safe and well always!
Don't forget to smile often!🤗😍🤗
