Can you believe it's been a whole year since I joined Hive? It feels like just yesterday!
In this blog post, I want to take a moment to reflect on my journey here. It's been a year already, but I can still remember how nervous I was when I clicked that 'Publish' button for the very first time. I clearly remembered how I prepared for that introduction post! I'm glad I did it anyway.
In my twelve months of staying here, Hive has become my go-to place, the place where I can unleash my thoughts and share the memories I want to cherish. And the best part is, I've met some of the most amazing people along the way.
Thanks to @jane1289's post on the other platform regarding Hive PH's onboarding seminar, I was led to the HivePH discord server, and the rest is history. It's funny how that one click changed my life. Now, I can't even let a day pass by without checking Hive and my Discord. I'm also grateful to @kneelyrac for helping me create my account here.

Technically, my blog was created last July 7, 2022, but it wasn't until July 11, 2022 that I mustered up the courage to introduce myself and start engaging with others. That's why I'm celebrating my Hive Birthday today!
Who would've thought that even after a year had passed, my first post still has views?

I may be a minnow with 56 blog posts and 1494 comments, but those numbers wouldn't be there without the incredible people I've connected with here. Thanks for taking the time to read my blogs, and I hope you were entertained or learned something from them. Your comments and support made my experience here more rewarding for me.
Throughout my journey, I've gained 161 followers and made countless friends. Not to mention, I earned three badges from HivePH, Pinmapple and Pizza! Who knew blogging here could come with these rewards?

I hosted Friday night games in the Hive PH discord server and eventually became a moderator. It's great connecting with my virtual friends from Hive PH and we even managed to meet in person last April! It's those moments that make Hive feel like a community!
Let's talk about my Hive Power. It feels like a mini victory for having 863 Hive Power. Thanks to all the delegations and support I've received along the way. @forykw's delegations had a huge impact on my progress. I must be the wheel's favorite participant because I won 5 times! 🥰

Right now, I'm delegating a portion of my Hive Power to the following accounts as a way to show my support. I'm planning to make the list longer once I reach my goal of 1500 HP by the end of this year.
Recently, I proudly got my power-up helper badge for helping out @sherline. It feels great to pay it forward and help at least one newbie per year in growing their accounts.

Ever since I started blogging here, I've been committed to powering up every month. But guess what? Last May 1, I totally forgot to power up 10 Hive!
But you know what? I'm not that mad about it because I was spending the day hanging out with some of my Hive PH friends.

Speaking of badges, I managed to get 2 Power Up Month badges 🥰 Would I challenge myself again for the PUM? 🤔 It's something I'm considering. The thrill of the challenge is tempting but I still have to think about it.
Of course, it's not all rainbows and butterflies. I also had my fair share of writer's block and lazy days where watching movies and series seemed more appealing than writing 😅 Oh, and I will not forget the moment when I accidentally transferred some tokens to someone I didn't even know 🤣 After that experience, all I could say is that asking questions makes everything less embarrassing 🤣 If you're a newbie, don't be shy to ask questions! But I guess they're all part of my blogging experience.
So, as I celebrate this first anniversary on Hive, I want to express my gratitude to each and every one of you for sticking around and for your support. Thanks for being a part of this journey! I can't wait to see what the next chapter of my Hive journey brings! ✨
