El tiempo pasa inexorablemente. Pareciera ayer, los casi cinco años transcurridos desde que toda una comunidad decidió en conjunto oponerse a un intento de centralización, favorecido por la vanidad de una sola persona (Justin Sun) y la intromisión de varios exchanges que le apoyaron en el intento. Cuando en el futuro se estudie la historia del mundo de las criptomonedas, #Hive se ubicará en las preferencias como la primera cadena de bloques que luchó con éxito el intento de centralización de un solo comprador. Y podremos estar orgullosos de haber formado parte de los bastiones que ayudaron a liderar la comunidad de habla hispana, con el fin de doblegar las pretensiones de Sun. Una gesta así, fue y será símbolo de una máxima de la descentralización: "Una comunidad no puede ser comprada"

Los años posteriores a ese momento histórico han estado llenos de trabajo por y para hacer crecer nuestra cofradía. Muchísimos vicios de la vieja cadena (steem) fueron superados y muchas aplicaciones han sido mejoradas. Por supuesto, la propia característica de descentralización, hace muy difícil sortear algunos desafíos y retos de cara al futuro. Sin embargo, en algo podemos estar claros: HIVE es y será siempre un monstruo de mil cabezas discordantes, pero con una sola misión de defender lo que tanto sudor y lágrimas ha costado construir. Esa misma pasión con la que vemos nuestra cadena de bloques y la bien ganada fama de ser miembros de una "secta", sólo lo puede comprender alguien que ha estado ligado a HIVE desde el corazón y que ha trabajado por ella desde la convicción de pertenecer a un lugar virtual que cambia vidas. Esto último no es una exageración.

Historias hay miles y la nuestra la saben muchos. ¿Que se nos antoja hacia el futuro? Es impredecible. Una de las cosas claras para quienes tenemos la visión de construcción, es que sin la participación de TODOS los miembros de la comunidad será imposible conseguir aquello con lo que hemos soñado largamente. Es desde el trabajo en CONJUNTO y consuetudinario que se puede lograr todo. Y lo decimos desde el ejemplo. Casi siete años desde que comenzamos éste camino lo atestiguan. Hace tiempo no escribía sobre HIVE y quienes nos consideran portadores de las palabras que quisieran leer, quizás estén extrañados sobre nuestro retroceso en la representación de nuestra cadena. Bueno, el protagonismo y liderazgo de una comunidad entera, jamás se lo puede abrogar nadie porque esa es la característica de un monstruo de mil cabezas. Y dejar que las nuevas generaciones sean las protagonistas es confiar en la reserva de calidad humana que puede y debe liderar los nuevos tiempos. A nosotros nos queda el papel de guía y de complementar las decisiones con nuestro HIVE Power (HP).

There are thousands of stories and many know ours. What does the future hold for us? It is unpredictable. One of the clear things for those of us who have the vision of construction, is that without the participation of ALL members of the community it will not be possible to achieve what we have long dreamed of. It is by working TOGETHER and in a consuetudinary way that everything can be achieved. And we say it by example. Almost seven years since we began this journey attest to this. 2025 y los años subsiguientes demostrarán que la siembra no ha sido en vano. Muchas veces me han catalogado de maximalista de HIVE. Y sí, me declaro como tal ¿La razón? Nuestra experiencia como empresario. HIVE tiene desafíos por superar y algunas oportunidades de desarrollo increíbles. Ningún proyecto de la cripto-esfera ofrece una relación de costo beneficio como el que nos ocupa. Una de las lecciones que puedo compartir desde nuestro pasado creando compañías es la concentración de los esfuerzos en un solo proyecto si de corazón, usted apuesta por el éxito de este. 2025 and beyond will prove that the sowing has not been in vain. I have often been labeled an HIVE maximalist. And yes, I declare myself as such. The reason? Our experience as an entrepreneur. HIVE has challenges to overcome and some incredible development opportunities. No project in the crypto-sphere offers a cost-benefit ratio like the one at hand. One of the lessons I can share from our past experience building companies is to concentrate your efforts on a single project, if you are wholeheartedly committed to its success.
