Iba a redactar una nueva crónica para @fulldeportes, respecto a un juego de béisbol escenificado en Fenway Park de Boston anoche, cuando reparé en algunos hitos logrados hace muy poco y merecedores de una crónica en Loving Hive. No es que a nuestro amigo @hosgug le hubiera gustado así fuera, dado que se enfrentaban sus amados Rojos de Cincinnati con el equipo local, pero él ha de comprender nuestra pasión por HIVE y el compromiso de entrega semanal a la comunidad global. Dicho esto, uno se los hitos logrados, fue el haber rebasado la cantidad de 50.000 Hive Power (HP) en stake dentro de nuestra wallet. Es una cifra que se dice fácil, pero el hiver ha de poseer una determinación increíble para alcanzarla. Primordialmente, porque la tentación de disponer de vuestro $HIVE anclado, está siempre jugando como un diablillo dentro de los pensamientos generados por la necesidad vital.

I was about to write a new feature for @fulldeportes, regarding a baseball game staged at Fenway Park in Boston last night, when I noticed some milestones achieved very recently and deserving of a feature on Loving Hive. Not that our friend @hosgug would have liked it that way, given the matchup between his beloved Cincinnati Reds and the home team, but he must understand our passion for HIVE and commitment to weekly delivery to the global community. That said, one of the milestones we achieved was to have surpassed 50,000 Hive Power (HP) stakes in our wallet. It's an easy number to say, but it takes incredible determination on the part of the hive to reach it. Primarily, because the temptation to have your $HIVE anchored is always playing like a little devil in the thoughts generated by the vital need.

No me malinterpreten, por favor, cada quien maneja su dinero como quiere y no todos tienen la disciplina necesaria para resistir esas tentaciones de las que hablamos en el párrafo pasado. Así las cosas; reunir tal cantidad de HP a punta de publicaciones solamente, sin agregar dinero de vuestro propio bolsillo, es una proeza de valor incalculable. Demuestra que con trabajo, disciplina y determinación es posible lograr un capital dentro de nuestra cadena de bloques. Pero más aún, logra dar el ejemplo impelido por tantas personas dadas a demeritar la disciplina, como arma secreta de cualquier construcción o empresa por difícil que ella sea. Es decir, solo un 25% de las recompensas van a parar a su HP. 1 de cada 4 partes. Y solo cuando se obtiene una cifra como la mencionada en el primer bloque de texto, os dais cuenta de la dimensión de lo logrado.

Don't get me wrong, please, everyone manages their money as they want and not everyone has the discipline to resist those temptations we talked about in the last paragraph. That being said, to raise such an amount of HP through publications alone, without adding money from your own pocket, is a priceless feat. It demonstrates that with hard work, discipline and determination it is possible to achieve capital within our blockchain. But more than that, it manages to set the example set by so many people who demerit discipline as the secret weapon of any construction or enterprise, no matter how difficult it may be. That is, only 25% of the rewards go to your HP. 1 out of 4 parts. And only when you get a figure like the one mentioned in the first block of text, you realize the dimension of what has been achieved.
Ahora ¿por qué es importante celebrar tales logros? No hay manera de motivar e incentivar a otras personas, si hay desconocimiento público. Tan simple como un intento de amalgamar pareceres detrás de la edificación de un capital. De otra manera ¿para qué dedicas tiempo a HIVE? ¿Pasarla bien? Nada tiene de condenable, pero si ese tiempo invertido, lo trabajas y lo redituas en un capital, pues que así sea y buen provecho ¿Ha sido fácil? Jamás me atrevería afirmar eso. Principalmente porque cuando empiezas, es cuando se presentan la mayor cantidad de escollos. Pienso, en retrospectiva, que funciona ese período como un filtro. Donde el tiempo se encarga de escoger quienes tienen la madera para continuar a pesar de las circunstancias. La vimos bien difícil los primeros 3 años. A partir del cuarto año, justamente, saliendo de la pandemia y habiendo ese 2020 existido el fork respecto a la vieja cadena, todo mejoró ostensiblemente.

Now why is it important to celebrate such achievements? There is no way to motivate and encourage others, if there is public ignorance. It is as simple as an attempt to amalgamate views behind the building of capital. Otherwise, why do you spend time on HIVE? Having a good time? There is nothing to condemn, but if that time invested, you work it and you get a capital, so be it and good profit. Has it been easy? I would never dare to affirm that. Mainly because when you start, that's when the greatest number of pitfalls present themselves. I think, in retrospect, that this period works as a filter. Where time takes care of choosing those who have the wood to continue despite the circumstances. We had a very difficult first three years. From the fourth year onwards, just after the pandemic and the fork having existed in 2020 with respect to the old chain, everything improved ostensibly.
Y, en serio, creo tuvo mucho que ver con el cambio de actitud de este redactor respecto a HIVE. Es sencillo haber tenido en mente en nuestros inicios, la búsqueda de "un lugar en internet donde me paguen por escribir", pensando en que HIVE era susceptible de ser ordeñado como una vaca. Lejos estaba de creer podía construir una marca acá; sin embargo, la influencia de muchos Hivers comprometidos nos hizo cambiar la visión que sobre este lugar tenía. Y es que la propia comunidad te moldea, lo quieras o no. Y eso es muy lindo de decir en una era, donde la impersonalidad de las redes sociales arrolla todo vestigio de humanidad y permea la insensibilidad como virus destructor. Entonces, si hay algo útil para confrontar tan terrible escenario, HIVE puede convertir una fuente de ingreso casual, en algo mucho más poderoso. Y eso, amigos, no tiene precio.

And, seriously, I think it had a lot to do with the change in this writer's attitude towards HIVE. It is easy to have had in mind in our beginnings, the search for “a place on the internet where I can get paid to write”, thinking that HIVE was susceptible to be milked like a cow. I was far from believing that I could build a brand here; however, the influence of many committed Hivers made us change the vision I had of this place. And the community itself shapes you, whether you want it to or not. And that's a nice thing to say in an era where the impersonality of social networks sweeps away all vestiges of humanity and permeates insensitivity like a destructive virus. So, if there is anything useful to confront such a terrible scenario, HIVE can turn a casual source of income into something much more powerful. And that, my friends, is priceless.
