Sábado 12 de Noviembre. Acordamos conseguirnos en el apartamento donde los chicos que me acompañan (@soy-laloreto, @arlettemsalase e @ilazramusic) descansan en la noche. Ha sido toda una aventura representar a HIVE. Principalmente porque hace muchos años dejé de viajar por el país por cuestiones de trabajo. Y al hacerlo por HIVE tiene un significado especial porque trae evocaciones de nuestras travesías de trabajo a lo largo y ancho de Venezuela. Un sentimiento que vuelvo a sentir es el de la ferviente actividad explicando la Web 3.0, algo parecido a cuando entrenaba fuerza de ventas o explicaba las bondades de un producto en cualquier exposición.
Saturday, November 12. We agreed to meet at the apartment where the guys who accompany me (@soy-laloreto, @arlettemsalase, and @ilazramusic) rest at night. It has been quite an adventure to represent HIVE. Mainly because many years ago I stopped traveling around the country for work. And doing it for HIVE has a special meaning because it brings back memories of our work trips throughout Venezuela. A feeling that I feel again is that of the fervent activity explaining Web 3.0, something similar to when I was training the sales force or explaining the benefits of a product in any exhibition.

Nuestro almuerzo / Our lunch
Salimos hacia el Hotel Tibisay del Lago ubicado en la Av. El Milagro. Estacionar se nos ha hecho fácil porque los expositores llegamos antes que el público. Nos hemos dado cuenta que la afluencia es mayor mientras más se acerca la noche. Ayer fue un pandemonium luego de las cinco de la tarde. Hubo más contactos que el día dos. Incluso se acercaron al stand personas que habían tenido cuenta en la cadena antigua y preguntaban como activarse en HIVE. Curioso, un par de ellos tenían cuenta desde 2017 y vivieron aquel famoso verano crypto. Podrían estar muy bien hoy día, pero, como siempre, vieron las recompensas y cuando se dieron cuenta del invierno, desistieron.
We left for the Hotel Tibisay del Lago on El Milagro Avenue. Parking has been easy for us because the exhibitors arrive before the public. We have noticed that the more people arrive the closer the night gets. Yesterday it was pandemonium after five o'clock in the afternoon. There were more contacts than on day two. We even had people come to the booth which had an account with the old network and were asking how to activate on HIVE. Funny, a couple of them had had accounts since 2017 and lived through that famous crypto summer. They could be doing very well today, but, as usual, they saw the rewards and when they realized the winter, they desisted.

Varios Hivers hicieron acto de presencia. Entre ellos se encontraban: @sugeily2, @romifuenm, @mildred271 y @yackelynher. Hubo otros también pero olvidé sus nicknames porque no tomé nota. Tampoco fotografías. Y es que tiene relación con el tiempo en el stand. Nos hemos organizado para que cada compañero y este servidor, descansemos a ratos. Sea que cualquiera que lo requiera vaya a dar una vuelta por la feria o vaya a los sillones del lobby a descansar del ruido producido por los equipos de sonido a todo volumen, los cuales llegan aturdir por períodos cortos. Ya saben ustedes, mis queridos lectores, cosas de feria.
Hivers made an appearance. Among them were: @sugeily2, @romifuenm, @mildred271, and @yackelynher. There were others as well but I forgot their nicknames because I didn't take note. No pictures either. And it is related to the time at the booth. We have organized ourselves so that each partner and this server, rest at times. Whether anyone who requires it goes for a walk around the fair or goes to the lobby chairs to rest from the noise produced by the sound equipment at full volume, which comes to stun for short periods. You know, my dear readers, fairground stuff.

La nota discordante del día fue un arreglo de reflectores mal sujetado en el lugar donde nos encontrábamos almorzando. Por alguna razón se desprendió y pudo haber golpeado en la cabeza a @sugeily2 o a éste servidor. Afortunadamente no pasó de un susto. Y digo discordante porque ninguno de los organizadores de la feria o de los stand adyacentes se acercó con una disculpa por lo sucedido. En fin, ya estamos acostumbrados a la falta de cortesía en algunas personas. Salimos de noche y nos fuimos a descansar convencidos de la necesidad de éstos eventos. Sea porque nuevas personas se interesan o se recuperan Hivers del pasado. Nos leemos por allí.
The discordant note of the day was an improperly fastened reflector array where we were having lunch. For some reason, it came loose and could have hit @sugeily2 or yours truly in the head. Fortunately, it didn't go beyond a scare. And I say discordant because none of the fair's organizers or the adjacent booths came forward with an apology for what happened. Anyway, we are already used to the lack of courtesy in some people. We left at night and went to rest convinced of the need for these events. Either because new people are interested or Hivers from the past are recovered. See you there.
