My Hive Highlight: A year like no other...! || CHALLENGE and GALL...

No imaginaba en Febrero de este año, que la renovación de mi pasaporte iba a traer eventos incidentales, los cuales nos llevarían fuera de nuestras fronteras a representar nuestra comunidad propietaria. Dicho esto, justamente salía del estacionamiento del ente responsable de la identificación en Venezuela (S.A.I.M.E.) con el flamante documento, cuando recibí una llamada a mi móvil que cambiaría mi papel dentro de #HIVE. Me invitaban al Perú para hacer presencia en un evento llamado BlockchainCon Latam 2023.

Podría extender ésta publicación sólo con las referencias de todo lo que pasó en ese viaje, pero preferimos no hacerlo porque ellas quedaron bien documentadas en su momento. Lo único que puedo decir es que subir a una tarima y enfrentar un auditorio con cientos de personas, para hablarles sobre #HIVE, ha sido la experiencia cumbre de mi andar en éste mundo de las cadenas de bloques.

I did not imagine in February of this year, that the renewal of my passport would bring incidental events, which would take us outside our borders to represent our own community. That said, I was just leaving the parking lot of the entity responsible for migration in Venezuela (S.A.I.M.E.) with the brand new document, when I received a call on my cell phone that would change my role within #HIVE. I was being invited to Peru to make presence in an event called BlockchainCon Latam 2023.

I could extend this publication only with the references of everything that happened on that trip, but we prefer not to do so because they were well documented at the time. The only thing I can say is that getting on stage and facing an audience of hundreds of people, to talk about #HIVE, has been the peak experience of my journey in this blockchain world.

¿Por qué mencionar varios "Highlights" y no solo uno tal como lo indica la invitación al reto? Sencillo: cada foto, evento y lugar mencionado en ésta pubñicación, dibujó nuestro camino en el andar del 2023. No fue un año cualquiera. Regresé de Perú y nos invitaron al Lara Fest en Barquisimeto, donde también fuimos speaker. En ese viaje, conocí en persona a alguien muy especial: @alexaivytorres, mi compañera de años en @cervantes. Poner piel y abrazos a lo virtual, es lo que hace más especial a ésta cadena.

Producto de los ahorros de las recompensas, pude viajar por mi cuenta a Los Roques, un paraíso del Mar Caribe. La siguiente parada fue Colombia en el Cripto Latin Fest 2023, en Bogotá. Allí conocimos y compartimos con otros Hivers en un stand donde estuvimos promoviendo a #HIVE. Fue un reencuentro con una ciudad hermosa y una experiencia increíble. Regresamos del hermano país para abordar la Caracas Blockchain Week 2023 y el HIVE Summit 2023.

Why mention several "Highlights" and not just one as indicated in the invitation to the challenge? Simple: each photo, event and place mentioned in this publication, drew our path in the journey of 2023. It was not just any year. I came back from Peru and we were invited to the Lara Fest in Barquisimeto, where we were also speakers. On that trip, I met in person someone very special: @alexaivytorres, my partner of years in @cervantes. Putting skin and hugs to the virtual, is what makes this chain more special.

Product of the savings from the rewards, I was able to travel on my own to Los Roques, a paradise in the Caribbean Sea. The next stop was Colombia at the Cripto Latin Fest 2023, in Bogota. There we met and shared with other Hivers at a booth where we were promoting #HIVE. It was a reunion with a beautiful city and an incredible experience. We returned from our brother country to address the Caracas Blockchain Week 2023 and the HIVE Summit 2023.

Luego de tales compromisos preparamos maletas para viajar a la Argentina con el fin de asistir a LABITCONF2023, el evento más importante sobre criptomonedas en latinoamérica. Aunque orientado al $BTC, no deja de ser una ventana increíblemente importante para mostrarse ante el público interesado en las cadenas de bloque. Reitero la importancia de invertir en éste encuentro, por encima de cualquier otro.

Decir que ha sido un año extraordinario es poco. Siempre hacemos balances por estos días con el fin de mirar atrás y ver que hemos sumado o aprendido. Nadie sabe su futuro. Tampoco está en nuestras manos representar nuestra cadena. Pero si me lo preguntan, estoy muy orgulloso de lo logrado en éste 2023 con #HIVE. Jamás me he sentido igual en toda mi vida profesional y si mañana tengo que irme de éste plano físico, me iré con la convicción de que lo he dado todo. Nos leemos por allí.

After such commitments we packed our bags to travel to Argentina to attend LABITCONF2023, the most important event on cryptocurrencies in Latin America. Although oriented to $BTC, it is still an incredibly important window to showcase yourself to the public interested in blockchain. I reiterate the importance of investing in this meeting, above any other.

To say it has been an extraordinary year is an understatement. We always take stock these days in order to look back and see what we have added or learned. Nobody knows its future. Nor is it in our hands to represent our chain. But if you ask me, I am very proud of what we have accomplished in this 2023 with #HIVE. I have never felt the same in all my professional life and if tomorrow I have to leave this physical plane, I will leave with the conviction that I have given it my all. See you there.
