I am here to take part in this excellent initiative called my year in hive and I could not let this proposal pass without telling you how my progress in hive is going.

Me encuentro por acá para hacerme partícipe de esta excelente iniciativa llamada mi año en hive y que no podía dejar pasar esta propuesta sin contarles cómo van mis avances en hive.

Last July 28th I told you how I joined this platform in a post titled: "my story in hive", where I thank @wbrandt, for being the one who invited me to be part of this great family of content creators.

Now I will give you a brief account of what I have experienced in these nine months of working at hive.

As I told you in that opportunity, I joined hive looking to improve my economic situation, because I had already done it in other platforms called hive work and humanatics; however, besides helping me with the economic part I have also obtained other things that money does not buy: I have met several people both from my country and from other parts of the world, I met hivers from my city Barquisimeto in several events I attended: expoferia, Lara-fest and hivebqto's birthday.

El pasado 28 de julio les relaté la forma en que entré a esta plataforma en una publicación titulada: "mi historia en hive", donde agradezco a @wbrandt, por ser él quien me invitó a formar parte de esta gran familia de creadores de contenido.
Ahora les haré un breve recuento de lo que he experimentado en estos nueve meses de trabajo en hive.
Como les dije en aquella oportunidad, yo entré a hive buscando mejorar mi situación económica, porque ya lo había hecho en otras plataformas llamadas hive work y humanatics; sin embargo, además de ayudarme con la parte económica también he obtenido otras cosas que el dinero no compra: he conocido varias personas tanto de mi país como de otros lugares del mundo, conocí a los hivers de mi ciudad Barquisimeto en varios eventos que asistí: expoferia, Lara-fest y al cumpleaños de hivebqto.

I have improved my writing and my ability to read and summarize. I have also learned to write sonnets and poetic tenths, and I write poetry with greater ease and more fluency.

The most important thing about all this is that I no longer consider it as a job or an obligation, but as a hobby, because I do it and I have fun. I can publish what I like and nobody imposes it on me. I can write in my own way, express my desires, activities and emotions by being myself without imitating anyone else. I control my schedule and regulate my publications sharing the time with my work. I usually post in the evenings when I have time after my work.

He mejorado mi redacción y mi capacidad para leer y resumir. Además he aprendido a escribir sonetos y décimas poéticas,y las poesías ya las escribo con mayor facilidad y más soltura.
Lo mas importante de todo esto es que ya no lo considero como un trabajo o una obligación, sino como un pasatiempo, porque lo hago y me divierto. Puedo publicar lo que me gusta y nadie me lo impone. Puedo escribir a mi manera, expresar mis deseos, actividades y emociones siendo yo mismo sin imitar a nadie. Yo controlo mi horario y regulo mis publicaciones compartiendo el tiempo con mi trabajo. Normalmente publico en las noches que es cuando dispongo de tiempo luego de cumplir con mi trabajo.

This is how little by little I have presented my publications, two or three per week, which is what my time allows me, but I try to make them as good as possible, so that if they do not receive the expected reward, they serve as a catalog that I can use for my personal archive.

The subject of rewards is a delicate one, because as I already told you, publications are fun and help to improve many things, but the reality is that the rewards they receive are what we count on for monetary support. However, we should not get upset when our publication does not receive any remuneration, because we must understand that the rewards are not for everyone and that sooner rather than later, the important thing in hive is perseverance.

Así es como poco a poco he presentado mis publicaciones, dos o tres por semana, que es lo que me permite mi tiempo, pero trato de hacerlas lo mejor posible, de tal manera que si no reciben la recompensa esperada, me sirvan como un catálogo que pueda utilizar para mi archivo personal.
El tema de las recompensas es delicado, porque como ya les dije, las publicaciones son divertidas y ayudan a mejorar muchas cosas, pero la realidad es que con las recompensa que reciben es que contamos para la ayuda monetaria. Sin embargo, no debemos molestarnos cuando nuestra publicación no recibe ninguna remuneración, pues debemos entender que las recompensas no son para todos y que mas temprano que tarde, lo importante en hive es la perseverancia.

What do I do with my rewards in hive?
So far the rewards I have received in these months of working in hive, I have used them to help me buy accessories for my vehicle, such as the battery, oil and tires. In addition, on a bi-weekly basis, I use the HBD to supplement the market and other groceries.

It is not much, it is true, but it is another income that I am generating by simply investing a little of my time in publishing my ideas and creative things that come out of my experience and life itself.

¿Qué hago con mis recompensas en hive?
Hasta ahora las recompensas que he recibido en estos meses de trabajo en hive, las he utilizado para ayudarme a comprar accesorios para mi vehículo, tales como la batería, el aceite y los cauchos. Además quincenalmente, los HBD los utilizo para completar el mercado y otros víveres comestibles.
No es mucho, es cierto, pero es otra entrada de dinero que estoy generando simplemente invirtiendo un poco de mi tiempo en la publicación de mis ideas y cosas creativas que salen de mi experiencia y de la vida misma.

In short, in the short time that I have been working in hive I have gained knowledge and friendships that have helped me to grow in the platform as a content creator and to make my work known to a community that values my time and effort.
