It may be possible to add friends online with the click of a button thanks to social media, but it will never be the same as having mutual or close friends who are physically present with you. Meeting up with friends in person instead of sending a message or chatting online creates a stronger bond.
Friendships have a huge impact on one's mental health and happiness. Good friends help you cope with stress, provide comfort and joy, and prevent you from feeling lonely or isolated.
Friendship has had a greater impact on my life in 2021 than it has ever had before, and the group of friends I chose to move with has had a significant impact on my ways and lifestyle.
Making friends has always been difficult for me, possibly due to the community in which I grew up.
Everyone has their cliche and their way of doing things, so you must either take a stand or be swept away by the wind. Where I grew up, it was better to be a lone wolf than to follow the pack.
This has had a significant impact on my being, making it difficult for me to form close relationships, but my decision to reconsider making friends was not a bad one. Starting with my roommate @ijohnsen, no one wants to share a room with a stranger, especially students, because we each come from a different perspective of the world.
Raised with a different mentality and morals, but this isn't the case with me and @ijohnsen; I can say our bond is one made from above, even though we have our trials and fights, but we bond well.
Meeting @starstrings01 was also a good one; I've mentioned to him a few times on this platform how he had the most impact on my life this year than any other friend on my list. Being in the same project practical group as him turned out to be a blessing in disguise.
Without him, I wouldn't have heard about Hive and blogging or earning through hive. And to be sincere Hive has changed my life in the past six months, financially, mentally and even it has influenced my education, blogging has helped me to be able to think deeply and utilize my instinct. I will be eternally grateful to @starstrings01 for being a friend indeed and showing me the way.
I was new to the system at the start of my degree program, in the first semester, and the pandemic had an impact on me. I struggled to adjust to the system until I met a friend who appeared to be a neighbor in our hostel; she was very encouraging and fed me with enough words to strengthen my frail mentality. I had some difficulties during the first-semester exam and was on the verge of giving up, but her influence had a significant impact on my education.
Without all of my good friends, 2021 would have ended in pain and regret, and I owe them all a debt of gratitude for making me happy and delightful. I'd be a bad friend if I didn't acknowledge @manuel6 influence in my 2021 plans. His generosity, love, and thoughtful gestures distinguish him as a true friend. Most importantly, as a student, he has always helped me with my financial needs, from the first day we met to the present day.
Also, thank you to Hive for making this year so special and for the freedom it provides me; here's to a better 2022 and many more years on the blockchain.
