Guess who’s two years on the blockchain? MEEEEEE!!!!!
Whenever I see people celebrate their 5th and 6th anniversary I’m always surprised, it looked so difficult to attain but hey I’m on the 2nd floor already guysssss and it feels so great!!!!!!
As my 2nd anniversary was approaching I thought about what to do to celebrate it. I did not just want to write only an appreciative post here on Hive, I wanted more, I wanted something different and that was when I thought about marketing Hive.
For the longest time, I’ve talked about Hive over and over again with my friends and everyone who cared to listen. How I go nonstop gushing about how amazing the platform is and my friends just can’t get over my Hive fever and as a result of that I have been called different names, names like Hive Queen, CEO of Hive, and the rest which I find funny.
Whenever I go around the blockchain I try to find Hiveans that reside in my city but I still haven’t found anyone, heck I even tried keeping tabs on the introduction posts by new Hiveans but I still couldn’t find any Hivean that resides in my city. Maybe I haven’t been looking well as other than the people in my city I introduced to Hive not many people know about Hive here.
So I reached out to a radio station, I asked what it took to come on air and they walked me through the process I paid the stipulated amount which was not cheap but it was worth every penny and I was granted an interview😃
So I was privileged to go on air at Vibes FM where I was able to talk about Hive. This time I didn’t just talk about Hive to a few people but a large number of people, my voice was heard talking about the most incredible platform in the world and guess what people listened and people called in and some people showed interest.
How do I feel? Ecstatic! Am I willing to do this again? Oh yes. For the longest time, I’ve thought about what I could do to give back to the Hive community as Hive has done a lot for me and it has practically changed my life in so many ways so giving back to the ecosystem was such a big deal for me.
Today I celebrate my second anniversary on the chain and one thing is certain I have grown, I’m not the Ibbtammy that celebrated her first anniversary a year ago but this Ibbtammy has developed and evolved in various areas of her life, and this wouldn’t have been possible if not for Hive.
Like I tell people, Hive impacts so much more to your life, it’s not just about blogging, from Hive I learnt how to better organize my life, and I have learnt how to set realistic and achievable goals that have been beneficial to me in both my personal and work life. Hive is just so much.
A big thank you to everyone who has played a major role in my growth you all are the real MVPs and to my @diyhub family, thank you so much for believing in me and trusting me to be on your team it has been such an honor to work with you all.
To my friends who have constantly engaged with me on the chain and to those with which our friendship has gone beyond the chain, I love you all and I wouldn’t trade you all for anything.
I wouldn’t have made it this far without each one of you in the picture, it’s been one jolly ride my friends but I’m willing to do this over and over again with you all because you all are stuck with me like gums from old shoes😃😃
