I have onboarded a few friends in the University since I joined and it is all for a reason: because I am tageting those that would have something to offer on Hive; I mean something more like their passions either in music, art, science or anything.
Once I just sense the passion in the people I meet, I tell them where they can share that passion, own the passion and also monetize their passion which of course is HIVE.
@strarstring said this in a post titled building a community of hivers in my university and I must say he's doing a great job achieving it.
For the past few months he has been binging in more people on board to hive and not just that but devoting his time on each and every one with a aim of seeing growth @starstrings01 thanks bro you've been of great help.
Today happens to be the first physical meet up for us to know more about hive, ask questions , tackle challenges we might actually be facing and more importantly meet up with my fellow hivers in my school.
The meeting was scheduled to hold 1pm as most of us had classes in the morning and immediately 1pm we conveyed to motion ground a popular spot in my school.
@startrings01 gave a few tips on how to survive on hive talking about
CONSISTENCY
An act of being regular in whatever thing is consistency and it is a way that will help growth on hive. Hive requires consistency and with that growth is assured.
ENGAGEMENT
Another way is to engage in other people's posts. Engagement and hive works in line it like having a vehicle and gas for the vehicle to move. Engagement brings more visibility and build friendship.
The meeting was just scheduled for one hour as most people had other things to do but then just that one hour was a moment I enjoyed because I got to see the faces behind most beautiful write-ups talking about @chosenfingers the face behind write ups of positive mindset
@mayorkeys the face behind those posts with lovely pictures and beautiful write-ups
@heskay the face behind post of creating awareness and yes @monioluwa I enjoy reading your posts.
I got to see some new faces I'm not sure have come across on hive so here is the thing when you get to see this post drop your ID in the comment box so we get to know more about each other.
The smile on each and everyone of their faces, you could tell they drop beautiful posts.
it was a moment we all exchanged pleasantries, know more about each other and yes took pictures.
All thanks to @starstrings01 the brain behind this .This is really thoughtful and has brought more awareness to hive in my school.
Thank you for visiting and reading my blog
