En mi caso, llevo más de tres años en esta red, por lo que hay muchísimas cosas que me encantan de Hive, aunque no podré mencionarlas todas en esta ocasión.
Welcome everyone! Today I'm joining the initiative started by @theycallmedan, who invites us to share in a post our three favorite things about Hive. In my case, I've been on this network for more than three years, so there are lots and lots of things I love about Hive, although I won't be able to mention them all on this occasion.
Para empezar a hablar de la primera cosa que me gusta de Hive, debo remontarme a mi pasado. Cuando tenía entre 12 y 15 años, disfrutaba mucho explorando contenido en diversos foros, ya fueran de tecnología, videojuegos o relacionados con algún nicho en particular. Fue en ese entonces cuando comencé a escribir publicaciones en foros utilizando Markdown, motivado por mi participación en GTA San Andreas Roleplay. Este juego, en el que se interpreta un personaje y se desarrolla su historia, incluía la creación de publicaciones en un foro para darle más vida y profundidad a su historia.
To start talking about the first thing I like about Hive, I have to go back to my past. When I was between 12 and 15 years old, I really enjoyed exploring content in various forums, whether they were about technology, video games or related to a particular niche. It was back then when I started writing forum posts using Markdown, motivated by my participation in GTA San Andreas Roleplay. This game, in which you play a character and develop his story, included the creation of posts in a forum to give more life and depth to his story.
No tengo acceso a los foros donde solía publicar contenido, ya que los servidores cerraron. Sin embargo, todavía conservo las capturas de pantalla que solíamos subir en una sección del foro, donde creábamos hilos para relatar la historia del personaje que interpretábamos.
Avanzando en el tiempo y acercándonos a la actualidad, hace tres años ya estaba involucrado en el mundo de las criptomonedas, especialmente en los criptojuegos. Fue entonces cuando descubrí la red de Hive. No podía creer que existiera un lugar donde podías subir publicaciones y, además, ser recompensado con dinero por tus artículos. Sin dudarlo, decidí profundizar y participar más activamente en Hive.
La primera cosa que más me gusta de Hive es precisamente esto: la red se basa en un formato similar al de un foro, pero con la increíble ventaja de que te recompensan por lo que escribes.
I don't have access to the forums where I used to post content, as the servers closed down. However, I still have the screenshots that we used to upload in a section of the forum, where we would create threads to tell the story of the character we were playing in San Andreas Multiplayer.
Moving forward in time and approaching the present day, three years ago I was already involved in the world of cryptocurrencies, especially cryptogames. That's when I discovered the Hive network. I couldn't believe that there was a place where you could upload posts and also be rewarded with money for your articles. Without hesitation, I decided to go deeper and participate more actively in Hive.
The first thing I like most about Hive is precisely this: the network is based on a forum-like format, but with the incredible advantage that you are rewarded for what you write.
Mi primer publicacion - My first publication
Cuando ingresé a Hive, me encontré con una gran cantidad de comunidades y, al principio, no tenía una guía clara sobre dónde publicar mis contenidos ni en qué comunidades hacerlo. Afortunadamente, varios jugadores del juego Rising Star solían hacer publicaciones en el foro y me echaron una mano para aprender a usar los hashtags y a elegir la comunidad según el tipo de contenido a subir.
Recuerdo que mi presentación fue bastante simple, pero en mi segunda publicación realmente me esmeré. Le dediqué muchísimas horas a crear y estructurar el contenido. Esto no habría sido posible sin la ayuda de personas que me apoyaron desde el principio, como @the01crow, a quien estoy profundamente agradecido.
Así que, en efecto, la segunda cosa que más me gusta de Hive es su maravillosa comunidad, especialmente la comunidad latina y la del juego Rising Star.
When I joined Hive, I came across a large number of communities and, at the beginning, I didn't have a clear guide on where to post my content and in which communities to post it. Fortunately, several players of the Rising Star game used to share posts on the forum and gave me a hand in learning how to use hashtags and how to choose the right community based on the type of content I wanted to upload.
I remember that my presentation was pretty simple, but in my second post I really put a lot of effort into it. I spent many, many hours creating and structuring the content. This would not have been possible without the help of people who supported me from the beginning, such as @the01crow, to whom I am deeply grateful.
So, in fact, the second thing I like most about Hive is its wonderful community, especially the Latino community and the Rising Star community.
En la publicación de @theycallmedan se mencionaba que podíamos hablar sobre cómo Hive nos ha ayudado, y debo decir que, en mi caso, me ha ayudado muchísimo. Estaría mintiendo si dijera lo contrario. Gracias a las recompensas generadas con mis publicaciones, pude comenzar a formarme en lo que más me apasiona: la programación.
Comencé realizando algunos cursos en una plataforma llamada Coderhouse, que ofrecía paquetes de cursos a precios accesibles. Todo eso no habría sido posible sin los ingresos que obtuve de Hive, junto con un pequeño emprendimiento que tuve y otras inversiones.
In @theycallmedan's post it was mentioned that we could talk about how Hive has helped us, and I must say that, in my case, it has helped me tremendously. I would be lying if I said otherwise. Thanks to the rewards generated from my publications, I was able to start training in what I am most passionate about: programming.
I started by taking some courses on a platform called Coderhouse, which offered packages of courses at affordable prices. All that would not have been possible without the income I got from Hive, along with a small venture I had and other investments.
Actualmente, estoy cursando una Tecnicatura Universitaria en Programación. Estoy a mitad de la carrera y ya obtuve un título intermedio como Auxiliar en Programación. Gran parte de los costos los he cubierto gracias a Hive, ya sea a través de recompensas por mis publicaciones y otras inversiones Ahora, como una forma de retribuir, estoy desarrollando proyectos para Hive utilizando las habilidades que he adquirido.
Currently, I am studying a University Degree in Programming. I'm halfway through my degree and I've already obtained an intermediate degree as a Programming Assistant. I have covered most of my costs thanks to Hive, either through rewards for my publications, game earnings and other investments. Now, as a way to give back, I am developing projects for the Hive network using the skills I have acquired along the way.
La tercera cosa que más me gusta de Hive es el impacto transformador que ha tenido en mi vida. Gracias a esta red, no solo he encontrado una comunidad que me apoya, sino que también me ha proporcionado las herramientas y los recursos para crecer personal y profesionalmente. Hive ha sido un puente hacia mis metas, permitiéndome formarme como programador.
The third thing I love most about Hive is the transformative impact it has had on my life. Thanks to this network, not only have I found a supportive community, but it has also provided me with the tools and resources to grow personally and professionally. Hive has been a bridge to my goals, allowing me to train as a Backend programmer.
En conclusión, las cosas que más me gustan de Hive son:
