2023 July 29th, The hive community conducted a comprehensive orientation program at Kal Anan National High School for nonmembers that has an interest in joining the hive ecosystem. It was led by @ybanezkim26, @intoy.bugoy, and @indayclara, who were the orators of the program, and supported by the hive on boarders @callmesmile, @ciadanmea, @naymhapz, @missjoycee,@jobeliever, @netswriting, @selflessgem, and others.
The program started at 9:00 am, but I am not around at the start since I went to town to buy roasted chicken and drinks. The venue is distant from the town proper and I returned at around 10:00 am where the orators are in the middle of the discussion.
@ybanezkim26 discussed with the participants the basic of the Hive Blockchain. He also gives a detailed understanding of how Hive Network functions and gives the audience or participants an all-encompassing view of the ecosystem's infrastructure. He explained the platform, from the interactions with the user through comments and upvotes, to the communities in the Blockchain, and the rules and regulations with regards to posting.
Mr.@intoy.bugoy discussed and presented the slide to the participants which was about the hive wallet, how to withdraw, and the proper breakdown of the amount of total upvotes. @indayclara also supports @intoy.bugoy in the presentation, and she also discussed the different ways how to learn in the community.
With the use of slides, @indayclara explained everything about what to put in the blogs, and what are the rules for posting. She also gives an example of plagiarism, spamming, and any act that will not be allowed in the Hive Community. She discussed Onboarding, and creating a hive account, from selecting a username, to creating passkeys which are very necessary. She also explained that it is very important to keep safe of your account keys.
The next portion is the questioning of the participants regarding their thoughts for a better understanding of the orientation program. The orators also answer the questions one by one, with clarity for a better understanding. Mr. Kim explained well the answer to the question of how the Hive community works. Unity between the orators and Onboarders led the program to be successful.
After the question and answer portion, the Comprehensive Orientation Program comes to an end. So, it is photo time.
The Comprehensive Orientation Program was very successful. The participants went out of the room filled with knowledge and well-equipped enough to begin their journey in the exciting world of Hive. We know that their participation will provide a crucial role in shaping the future of this decentralized revolution.
