In order to enlighten newbies, an orientation program is set for their success. This will foster a positive impact both to the platform and to Hive bloggers.
Hello Hivers all around the globe. I have experienced gloomy days last month of February. I wasn't able to attend one of the Hive Orientations because I'm still in the moment of moving on. I had miscarriage and I wanted to give myself enough time to move on. After a month of hiatus, the time has come for me to move on and keep going. It is a perfect timing when I was informed by Miss Smile that another set of interested bloggers wanted to join Hive. I'm pretty sure my attention will be diverted and can religiously help these set of people on how to navigate this platform.
This orientation program is significant to the newbie as we are about the set them up for their betterment. It is in this program that they will learn about Web3 and how it works.
For the first time, I was able to attend an orientation without the presence of these prominent mentors of ours in Hive @ybanezkim26, @indayclara and @intoy.bugoy. We really miss their presence. However, with the power and the collaboration of @callmesmile and @jobeliever everything runs smoothly.
It all started with Miss Smile's time. She elaborated clearly the differences between Hive and the other platform. She stated that this platform is decentralized and this makes it unique from the others. She also added that Hive is one of the leading platforms in Web3 blockchain being used by the people not just here in the Philippines but worldwide.
After a through discussion about this platform, the participants mind were filled with knowledge that is truly substantial as to how this blockchain works. It was Miss Jobelle's turn. She introduced Peakd first and explained how this works. Then, she explored the needed things to be done in blogging with the usage of Peakd. It is pretty the same with the other platforms but its betterment is higher compared to others.
Well then, it's my time now. I was assigned with these topics like: how to be curated, how to introduce yourself, what are the Do's and Dont's and some of the pieces of information in OCD program. After my topics, the participants have understood already how this platform brightens the life of the Hive bloggers in the future.
The open forum followed and I was glad about their questions. This was a proof that they were very interested and eager to join Hive right away.
The orientation was done precisely and successfully. The heavy snacks were served to us by our co-blogger @restlessness. We were so grateful for his generosity and let us stay in his humble abode for this orientation.
That's all for my First Hive Orientation of 2024 but actually it was the Sixth Hive Orientation I have attended. We went home with happy faces for the success and I'm looking forward for another orientations to come in the future.
